What Breed Is This Dog?

Meet Abby

One day my daughter-in-law was leaving work and someone offered her this puppy. They said she was 7 months old. Apparently the dog had too much energy for the older lady and she couldn't handle having her anymore.They told Kristen the dog was part Chihuahua and something else.

The kids were so excited that first night they named her Abby, the dog answered to it right away. We had to teach Anthony not to pick her up. As you can see, he likes to be helpful, while she looked to me in a way that silently screamed HELP!

She is actually little, but doesnt know it.

I think she looks close to a Jack Russell. Someone else told them Abby looks like she is Bull Terrier. We have no clue. While looking on the AKC list of breeds I found a picture of a Parson Russell Terrier. I think she looks more like that picture than any other they showed. Even though I highly doubt Abby is pure of any one breed.

I don't know how to find a dog breed out for sure. When choosing a dog breed, I think we all have a plan in place. This time the dog found us. It would be nice to know what breed she actually is though.

    Hi a friend of mine rescued a dog that had been run over it is completely healed and so adorable...i wonder if he may have pit bull in him, before i get all sorts of nasty comments i have nouthing against pit bulls but my siter had the sweetest pit bull until one day he snaped and aljmost killed her son. While i know there aresome awesome pit bulls due to this experience id rather go with another breed because i have 3 small kiddos does anyone know what breed this curey is?

    Fun Lens. Those are Corgi ears! Our dog is a Corgi mix but doesn't have the ears. Corgi's also have those "soulful" eyes!
