Welcome to Iona Cosmetics. We are a small established company founded and run by Jude Robinson (in 2007). Our Party Plan business is focused on selling Go* Cosmetics. We deal directly with the manufacturers, which allows us access to exciting up-to-date makeup trends coming online as well as the classic favourites and believe that our quality products offer something for everyone at a good price.

As a Consultant through Iona Cosmetics, you will have an extensive range of makeup and accessories to offer your clients which you can build up from your start up Demonstrator Kit to reflect this.

In addition to your Kit, there will also be the provision of our order forms, company leaflets for distribution at your parties, details of colour ranges available for each Kit item, and sales support from Jude Robinson herself.

The Demonstrator Kit as shown below can also be found on our website under "Party Plan Kits". It contains just under £200 worth of quality products (that's approximately 254 EUR or $395).

As a start up cost, we only charge £100 (approximately 127 EUR or $198 for this kit plus an £8 postage and packaging fee. However we only ask that you pay half this plus the P+P fee which is £58 up front for the kit (approximately 74 EUR or $115). This reduces your initial outlay and helps you establish your client base. The other £50 is paid by not receiving commission on your first £200 worth of sales which, at 25%, is £50.

As a Consultant for Iona Cosmetics, the incentive is left with you as to how you find potential hosts for the parties as well as the co-ordination and frequency of them. There are no sales targets so no pressure selling. It is self driven and can be tailored to fit around your current lifestyle. You may find you're a natural and do more than you bargained leading to more money in your pocket!

The layout of running a party can be very individual and flexible. Some Consultants like to use fun activities/games to start off with to help clients relax and get chatting before showing the products off to their full potential. And whilst the party is in full flow it can be an opportune time to mention to those attending there is a host gift for every party held!

It's definitely the case that our products need to be handled, tested and smelt at the parties so don't be afraid to upset your nice display! Just have fun!!!

On receiving makeup orders and payments (cash or cheques made payable to yourself) from your clients at the party, you can later go through the ordering process online using the discount code provided by us. Iona Cosmetics would advise you to wait until cheques have cleared in your bank before placing your Order. We will despatch your Order the next working day.

From the date of you taking orders at your Party to you receiving the items for distribution, we would recommend you give a time frame of one to two weeks to your clients. If there are any items required faster for any reason this should be stipulated by contacting us and we will endeavour to do our best!

If you wish to advertise your Party Plan business with us, we are happy to list your name and contact details on the Party Plan page on our website.
This will only be done with your consent and is not an automatic process.

For hosting an Iona Cosmetics Party a FREE gift to the value of 5% of the total order value will be given as a thank you from you as the consultant on behalf of the company. We will gift wrap this and send it to you with all your other order items.

Commission is 25% of our RRPs.

As has previously been mentioned, the Demonstrator Kit worth £200 is sold to the consultant for the cost of £100 with the addition of £8.00 P+P. However to reduce initial outlay we would only ask for an initial payment of £58.00. The further £50 is paid by not receiving commission on your first £200 worth of sales which, at 25%, is £50. Doing it this way means that the amount of money you have to invest in the business up front is small in comparison to the value of the goods you receive in the kit.

You will be issued with a code by us for a 25% discount which can only be used after you have placed orders to the value of £200.

For example, if you receive orders of £250 at your first party you would need to submit two orders, one for £200 with no discount then one for £50 with the discount code. All orders thereafter will be submitted using the discount code giving you your 25% commission from the monies collected from the party.

When you become an Iona Cosmetics Consultant, you may purchase from Iona Cosmetics an Extension Kit or Kits to add to your collection of products. These kits can be bought on the website with your 25% discount code.

We will supply you, via email, the order forms for your clients to place their orders at the party. By doing this you can print off as many as you like. Clients may wish to have a copy of their order so we would suggest use of a carbon sheet between two forms to achieve duplication.

Iona Cosmetics has a basic contract which stipulates how both Parties (Iona Cosmetics and the Iona Cosmetics Consultant) will commit to each other. This document is emailed for you to print off, sign and return to us by post to the address at the end of this document. It will then be signed by a representative of the company and a full copy emailed for your own files. Only on completion will you be able to purchase the Demonstrator Kit.

We reserve the right to cancel any order of the Demonstrator Kit and refund monies until the contract is signed.

If you would rather hold an Online Party than sell products face to face, here's the ideal opportunity.

We simply give you a two week period (14 days) in which to contact all your friends and family with a Code (provided by us) that they can use when ordering products from our website, this Code will identify their orders with you. We then total up the value at the end of the two week period of all the orders placed using that code and you receive 15% of the value of those orders. The 15% can either be posted to you as a cheque or we can provide you with a code so that you can place on order on the website and that value will be taken off your order.
