    Great Hawaii birds. Makes me want to go there again. I am not sure what my favorite birds there were but the nene at our campsite inside the crater and the Magnificent Frigate Bird gliding beside us on the lava trail to Kalalau are about tied. wow.

    Boy did I miss out when I visited Hawaii, from the looks of this lens! I was too busy looking at all the different plants and flowers :)

    I used to love to go bird watching when I was in Idaho. The Whooping cranes were my favorite to watch. I saw some beautiful birds when I was in Hawaii, but I'm not exactly sure what they were. On my next trip I will definitely take a bird book with me.
