Haywire Soundtrack

Model and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Gina Carano (Blood and Bone) gets to kick ass in "Haywire", playing the lead role as betrayed special ops super soldier Mallory Kane. Besides the MMA superstar, this action thriller by Oscar winner Steven Soderberg (Erin Brockovich, Contagion) boasts a talented cast that includes Ewan McGregor (The Ghost Writer), Michael Fassbender (A Dangerous Method), Antonio Banderas (The Legend of Zoro), Michael Douglas (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) and Bill Paxton (Titanic 3D).
"Haywire" focusses on Mallory Kane, who is hired to perform various jobs governments and heads of state would rather not have anything to do with. In one mission to Dublin, the operation goes awry and Kane finds out that she has been double crossed. Using all her skills and abilities, she evades an international manhunt and finds her way back to the United States to seek revenge on those who betrayed her.
The film is scored by David Holmes, who has had a successful partnership with director Steven Soderbergh on films "Out of Sight" (1998), "Ocean's Eleven" (1998) and it's two sequels "Ocean's Twelve" and "Ocean's Thirteen".
The "Haywire" soundtrack album featuring David Holmes' original score will be released in the US by Relativity Music Group and Silva Screen Records is handling the release overseas. While no domestic release date has been announced yet, the album is scheduled to come out in Europe on January 23, 2012.
