SEE ME, FEEL ME, TOUCH ME, HEAL ME.... The song from the Who's album "Tommy" plays in my mind. Many people search outside of themselves for a healer. They want someone with special powers to fix them or their situation. In the Huna philosophy of Hawai'i, I have learned that "All power comes from within." I want to share with you my journey and how I came to learn about healing from within.

If You, Someone or Something around you needs healing...
There is always something you can do
I used to spend a lot of time worrying. I asked over and over "What if... this happens?" Until one day someone said to me "What if it doesn't?"
It is a limitless universe with unlimited possibilities. Why do so many of us keep playing the same movie of fear and worry over and over in our minds? Why not switch our attention to focusing on the solutions rather than the problems?
I found that in order to focus on solutions I had to develop a knowledge of what my options were. By increasing what I knew and by increasing the tools that I had to work with, I was able to proceed with an increased confidence that I would be able to work my way through anything. I found that I was not helpless. There was always something that I could do.
I am thankful for all of the teachers in my life in all of the forms that they appeared.
I want to share with you the works of one of the teachers that I met in Hawaii. His name is Serge Kahili King and he is the founder of Aloha International a worldwide group of healers pledging to help make this world a better place.
This lens is dedicated to his work and it is my hope that there may be someone out there that could also benefit from an increased awareness and sense of self confidence that the knowledge found in these healing tools brought to me.

In Hawaii we wear the kukui necklace when we teach to remind us that the teacher is also a student. The kukui nut was used in making light and is a symbol of enlightenment. - I use string figures and string tricks as a healing art. String Tricks in Hawaii are called pukaula. It is noted in the literature that string and the tying and releasing of knots was used by kahunas or healing priests in healing rituals of old Hawaii.

- Are you afraid of catching the flu? Are you worried about what you touch and who you are near? Are you washing your hands or "wringing your hands" in stress? You may need to change the way you are thinking. Fear increases tension. Don't wash your hands out of fear and protection but wash as a practice of wellness. Put your attention on increasing harmony and make a healing ritual out of washing your hands.
