Anxiety and panic attacks
How to deal with them naturally
Many people deal with anxiety disorders, including disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), acute stress disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Many factors can contribute, trauma, chemical sensitivity, caffeine, heredity, drugs, alcohol and lifestyle choices. As an Herbalist this is one condition many people consult me about. People have been able to manage their anxiety attacks with natural alternatives and feel much better. When using natural remedies give the program time, and also work on diet and lifestyle, along with taking your supplements. Work closely with your doctor and/or herbalist.
Panic disorder is about twice as common with women as men. Women tend to deal with stress differently.
Herbs and other natural supplements have been known to help many control panic attacks and other anxiety disorders. When dealing your health through natural alternatives you want to get to the root of the problem which usually is lack of nutrients, stress and toxins in the body.

Testimony of one woman who weaned herself off meds
Go from prescrip drugs to natural supplements
She got off her meds
The products listed below are good alternatives.
One herbalist personally really likes the
- Chinese Liver Balance
- Nutri-calm
Please remember that any person discontinuing your meds should slowly taper off. This can be accomplished in several weeks under medical supervision.
Serotonin, kept in higher levels by some meds, is used by the gut as a signal to process food, among other things in the body. The side effect of some meds is diarrhea which comes from this signal. Unfortunately, the body soon starts to ignore this signal, resulting in constipation. I know of one person whose gut is really messed up and deals with bouts of constipation and diarrhea after three years of meds.
Testimonial from herbalist:
A friend, quite depressed, quit her meds cold turkey, she started with
- Chinese Mood Elevator
- Chinese Liver Balance
- Homeopathics Distress Remedy
- Depressaquel
She filled her RX just in case, because she was a bit unsure of the natural route. She saw results quickly and is never going back on prescrip drugs. (I do recommend tapering off slowly with doctor's supervision.)
For women it is important to balance your hormones also.

- Great lens! I will pass this on to my dad. He suffers form general anxiety. I was looking for something to help him get by and I came across this site, and I have been to the retailers site from there to look at the testimonials as well. What do you make of it? I bought it and went through it myself. Very interesting and I think this will help him already...

- I've struggled with panic attacks for over 5 years now. And few things have helped me lower the anxiety. One was the added exercise, the second was actually changing the way I eat, and getting the rid of triggers, and of course talking to others about my issues. And dealing with my fears using joe barry panic away guide
