Vibrational Healing Using Stones

Indigenous people the world over have had traditions about using stones to heal. The Tibetans use a turquoise stone as a "life stone" and often grind up stones to use in their sand paintings for healing. They also use the ground up stones in their medicines taken internally. Native Americans have honored the stone people and incorporated them in their healing work. Shamans from all quarters of the globe use stones.

Of course, now days we use heated stones in massage as well.

Stone Evokes Eternity, Solidity and Security.

"Stone, maybe more than any other material, has been known forever to be magical, to have powers to heal, guide, house divinity, and mark places of burial. Altars are usually of stone, as are temples, oratories, and sometimes houses. Rock gardens invite meditation, and stone walls, a common sight in New England, do more than mark boundaries; they evoke memories of the people who once lived on this land of ours and give rise to speculation about early visitors from Europe and ritual megaliths and dolmens." Quote is from The Re-enchantment of Everyday Life by Thomas Moore.

Love Is In The Earth Books by Melody

The Magic of Dzi Beads

The meaning of the Tibetan word "Dzi" translates to "shine, brightness, clearness, splendour".

They are found primarily in Tibet, Bhutan, Ladakh and Sikkim. Farmers and nomads pick them up in the fields. Because dZi are found in the earth, most Tibetans do not believe they are man-made. Since knowledge of the bead is derived from oral traditions, few beads have provoked more controversy concerning their source (ET?).

The beads command high prices and are rare. This all contributes to making them the most sought after and collectable beads on earth.

Tibetan Gemstone Oracle

Jewels of the Lotus:
Tibetan Gemstone Oracle

Here is a review:

I love this book and card deck! Of all the books I've read about crystals, this is the most comprehensive book I've seen! The card deck is great for readings! This book links crystals to the metaphysical and physical parts of human beings in a way that makes so much sense. Now I really understand why crystals affect us.

And the cards are great! Whenever I get a cold or feel down about something, I just get out the deck of cards and give myself a reading from the "Jewels of the Lotus." The reading is always right on track - I come away with insights into the situation and then I make progress by using what I learned.

This is a long overdue book and card deck - it is definitely on my gift list for my favorite people!

Originally designed for estheticians, the techniques in this video can be applied by massage therapists as well. Re-Enchant Your Life With Stones

The following quote is from The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life by Thomas Moore.

"I remember the first time I saw Stonehenge. I expected it to be a disappointment, because travelers had told me it had been commercialized, fenced, regulated, and posted to the point where its magic had been diminished. Not so for me. As I rode with friends through the open English countryside and caught my first glimpse of the stone formation, I felt immediately that I was crossing the threshold of a genuine temenos, a true sanctuary. The fences didn't interfere with my immediate fascination, and I didn't have to spend a long time studying the circle and the placement of the dolmen. In fact, I didn't think much at all, but simply felt the impact of the magic of the place and its eternity and knew in my heart that these were among the precious living beings of this world."
