- I'm so glad I found this lens! My first lens kept complaining about the intro photo. I changed the filename to 'ToddleTees.gif', still to no avail, and I assumed it was those pesky random numbers. After reading the comments here, I added 'ToddleTees' as a tag (with no spaces; 'Toddle[space]Tees' was already there), and woo-hoo! Sorted!!! 5*

- I went to the health check tool on my dashboard and clicked on Health and everything was healthy. Then I went into my Lens to work on some things and now it says the Intro photo is not Healthy. Why is there a difference?

- Yep, My Logo is of my dog, Buster so I got that "Your pic doesn't relate to your blog! Whine. So, I copied another pic of my favorite Mutt and renamed him the exact title as my blog- er- Lens. The Squid LOVES ME AGAIN!

- Don't worry about the numbers in the filename. Squidoo puts these in automatically to prevent your images from being overwritten by someone elses.
The solution to your problem is to add "apartments" to your list of tags.

- Hi all!
I am trying to make all Good under SQUIDHEALTH but appears that my picture that is originally uploaded from my PC with name: apartments.jpg in
Intro Photo: appears with name
1254305661apartments.jpg and explanation appears:
Needs Work: Your lens has an introduction photo, which is good. But here's an advanced tip: we'd recommend resaving that file under a tag that matches your content. So, if your lens is on Whole Wheat Pizza Recipes, and your intro photo is a picture of a pizza, make sure the photo filename (jpg or gif) is pizza.jpg or wholewheatpizza.jpg. And not something like MCfoodpic.jpg.
I do not know what is the reason that every time I upload the same picture uploaded name change and get only another number in front of apartments.jpg .
Can anybody advice?
Thanks.
B regards

- When I get this, I edit the name of the image from my computer and re-upload it.
If that's any help at all.
For an example. If I want to upload a picture of a butterfly and it was saved as DSC100, the health check will moan at me. If I named the picture Butterfly (or a name relevant to my lens) it will accept it.
I hope this helps!
And thanks for these helpful tips, I often get the tag bit wrong.

- The numbers at the front of the filename are put in automatically by Squidoo to make sure it is unique. Don't worry about them, as they do not effect the health of your lens. Make sure you've added 'walking safari' to the list of tags on your lens.

- the health tool tells me the file name in my Intro module is no good. However everytime I try to upload my picture afresh Squidoo puts a lot of digits before my picture name so it looks like this: 123456789walking-safari.jpg. How can I avoid that?

- Hi fluff,
It is this lens that drove me to use the Health check in the first place. But you know what? I finally got green on all my lens but one or maybe two. I am hoping for better search engine hits now. Both my movie reviews were flat. It will be interesting to see if the engines give me hits now.
Thanks for listening. I was whining after three hours of optimiz(s)ing.

- I can honestly say that when I first tried this I found it exasperating. At times I still do. However keeping it within all honesty I have to say that personally I am now lost without it. You have to keep banging away at it until you get it right. Sure it's frustrating but the end result will make you happy. I unequivocally stand by that statement and thank you for all your help and giving us this tool.

- You need to add some more tags, which help the tool know what your lens is about.

- I have changed my image filename to exactly the same as my title and it still thinks it has nothing to do with my lens. Why is this?

- Squidoo adds those number automatically to make sure your image name is unique. The Health Check Tool ignores those numbers, so it doesn't matter.

- Hi,
I have a question about the photo in the introduction module. I always save it to the right name( a keyword) but the health check will say it is something like 98699875499saved name.jpg So it is always telling me it is not relevant and I don't know why it is putting the numbers in front because I don't save them like that
