Would you like your dog to be healthier, have cleaner teeth, no fleas, no doggie odor, and even add years to their life?
Of course you would! Who wouldn't!? But how can a mere dog food help achieve this?
Please allow me to explain...
Years ago my human began researching online and in pet stores trying to find the best quality commercial dog food for me and my 4 doggie brothers and sisters. She read article after article and ad after ad all claiming to be the healthiest dog food available. And she made us try MOST Of them over a period of a year or two. Yucky!
However, we continued to have a flea problem, excessive shedding, plaque on our teeth, annoying (supposedly) doggie odor, dry itchy skin, and allergies.
She could absolutely see no difference in us (at least that's what she said!) and she might as well have been feeding us the cheapest discount food available or the gigantic bag of "Big Chunks" from the local feed store that you can pick up for next to nothing (with next to nothing quality....I mean, how many edible and nutritious ingredients can there possibly be in a 50-pound bag of food that costs around 7 bucks?! Think about it. The retail company has to make some money too so how many of those dollars went into the food?).
But I digress.

Yay, my human found the best commercial dog food!
It was about this time, after trying food after food, that she stumbled upon Sojourner Farms, or Sojos, natural dog food.She was skeptical by then but decided to give it a try. The difference in all of us dogs in just a short time was drastic!
Our dry skin cleared up, we suddenly had white teeth, no itchies, no fleas, and NO DOGGIE ODOR!
I couldn't believe it and neither could my human!
Even to this day when people visit our house they can't believe that with 5 dogs there is absolutely no smell (well I smell lots of things but apparently humans have an inferior sense of smell).
My human says the reason for this is there are a lot of toxins in most dog foods, and these toxins are released through the dog's skin, which is what people refer to as a doggie smell. I refer to it as "perfume" but that's just me!
Best of all, we love this food!

The food is a wholesome premix that you combine with meat (raw or cooked) and (optionally) veggies (I don't like green beans) to create your own fresh and homemade pet food.
So you basically have the best of both worlds. Fresh healthy homemade dog food with the ease and simplicity of a super healthy commercial dog food.

And it really is free because there are a couple of retail stores where we live that sell the food, and it is the same price there as what you will pay online. I know because I've gone into those pet shops with my humans.

By the way, before we get to the ingredients, over to the right there are 2 of my brothers (Bryan and Elliott, and my sister Hershey). Hershey's tail is blurry because she is wagging it too fast (she is happy). They are waiting for their Sojos of course!) ----------------------->Now I guess a lot of you reading this probably are curious as to the ingredients in Sojourner Farms, or as most people call it, Sojos.
I don't know how to read so I'll go ask my human.
Okay I'm back!. My human says that the ingredients are:
* Rolled oats (I like oats!)
* Rye flakes (I like rye flakes!)
* Barley flakes (I like barley flakes!)
* Natural calcium carbonate (I don't know what calcium carbonate is! I think it's something good for you.)
* Kelp (I'm not sure what kelp is but I think I like it!)
* Carob powder (carob powder tastes good!)
* Parsley (parsley is pretty and tastes good!)
* Nettles leaf (nettles leaf is good! I mean...what is nettles leaf? I think I like that too).
This is the only bag of dog food I have ever seen where I can pronounce all of the ingredients! My human says that's one of the reasons it's the healthiest dog food,, because most ingredient lists include a lot of bad things that you can't pronounce. I'm not sure what the bad things are but they must be yucky and I don't want to eat them.
I'd like to add also that this food does not contain green beans which I hate!
So if you and your human have been searching for a healthy all natural holistic dog food, look no further and give Sojos a try. Take it from me, your furbabies will thank you.

Bryan wants to show you his nice white teeth!
Bryan is one of my brothers, he's an english pointer too. He was rescued from Bryan, Texas, and that's how he got his name. Then he traveled all the way to Florida where we live now!He's a lot bigger than me, he's about 80 pounds and I'm only about 50 pounds.
So he had to butt in here and ask to show you his teeth because he always brags about how white they are. Well my teeth are white too, I just don't have a picture of them to show you. So we'll look at his.
I personally don't know what the big deal is but my human makes such a fuss about how white our teeth are, and how we never have to go to the vet to have them cleaned. She said when you go to have your teeth cleaned they have to use ....some big word....an-es-thes-ia....they put you to sleep! She says this is not good for us.
But that's okay because none of us have ever had to go have our teeth cleaned. There is something in the enzymes that keeps the teeth nice and white. I think that's what she said.

Knowing the writer and his brothers and sisters I can say that they are a best looking and smelling bunch of dogs that I have ever seen. Their teeth are puppy white and their breath doesn't smell. Also, they love this food so much that they dance and sing when it is time to eat.
