It was about this time, after trying food after food, that she stumbled upon Sojos natural dog food.

Okay I'm back!. My human says that the ingredients are:

* Rolled oats (I like oats!)

* Rye flakes (I like rye flakes!)

* Barley flakes (I like barley flakes!)

* Ground pecans (Yum!)

* Natural calcium carbonate (I don't know what calcium carbonate is! I think it's something good for you.)

* Kelp (I'm not sure what kelp is but I think I like it!)

* Carob powder (carob powder tastes good!)

* Parsley (parsley is pretty and tastes good!)

* Basil (basil is good! I mean...what is basil? I think I like that too!).

*Alfalfa (hey, that's what our horses eat, they love it! It smells great too!)

This is the only bag of dog food I have ever seen where I can pronounce all of the ingredients! My human says that's one of the reasons it's the healthiest dog food,, because most ingredient lists include a lot of bad things that you can't pronounce. I'm not sure what the bad things are but they must be yucky and I don't want to eat them.

(I'd like to add also that this food does not contain green beans which I hate!)

I heard my human talking to her friend yesterday about a new line of food Sojos has now, which is called Sojos Complete. Her friend (her name is Viv and we -- us doggies -- love her!) is going to start feeding this new food to her dogs because she doesn't want to be bothered with mixing in the ground meat (that's what you do with the regular Sojos like we eat).

I don't think it's too hard to mix in the meat because I don't hear my human complaining about that except when she forgets to buy some at the store. But this new food just has everything already in it which includes something called "freeze-dried raw turkey" which sounds really good!

My human says the ingredients in this food are: sweet potatoes, USDA turkey, whole egg, broccoli, celery, apples, flax meal, pecans, tricalcium phosphate, pumpkin, cranberries, basil, dried alfalfa, ginger root, dried kelp, zinc sulfate, vitamin E acetate, vitamin D2

Wow this sounds really good, I am going to ask my human if we can try some too! She lets us do anything we want, even sometimes sit on the couch, so I think I can talk her into it!

Oh yes, and she also said 1 lb. of Sojos Complete makes approximately 6.5 lbs. of fresh, raw dog food. Yummy!

Bryan is one of my brothers, he's an english pointer too. He was rescued from Bryan, Texas, and that's how he got his name. Then he traveled all the way to Florida where we live now!

He's a lot bigger than me, he's about 80 pounds and I'm only about 50 pounds.

So he had to butt in here and ask to show you his teeth because he always brags about how white they are. Well my teeth are white too, I just don't have a picture of them to show you. So we'll look at his.

I personally don't know what the big deal is but my human makes such a fuss about how white our teeth are, and how we never have to go to the vet to have them cleaned. She said when you go to have your teeth cleaned they have to use ....some big word....an-es-thes-ia....they put you to sleep! She says this is not good for us.

But that's okay because none of us have ever had to go have our teeth cleaned. There is something in the enzymes that keeps the teeth nice and white. I think that's what she said.
