Yes, being sick is a lot of work and takes a lot of energy, energy that is better invested elsewhere

And Supersize me is a great movie.

Agree--walking, dancing, eating wisely, thinking good thoughts--these and much more are worthy New Year Goals!

This is a great lens. I know I'm a year behind but it's definitely worth for a LOTD, so much good information! I featured this on my lens titled "New Year’s Resolution Ideas". Thanks for sharing!

Lot's of info here. I noticed that the few times water is mentioned it appears toward the top of a list. I think this should be a major focus. So many people drink so much pop (soda, coke, whatever you call it), alcohol, and coffee. It might be worth highlighting somewhere. Lensrolled!

Drink bottled water instead of soda from vending machines...to encourage people to a healthier lifestyle my husband years ago switched over to stocking only bottled water and 100% fruit juice for his vending machine business. Now, if only we could do something about those terrible vending machine snacks (we do not sell them ourselves)...

Gees Kirsti, ya got another winner here. Funny, my husband and I are fairly disciplined and dread the swarm of folks that will suddenly appear at our gym only to disappear a month later! Here's to those that stick it out! :o)

I eat pretty well but sit way too much. I resolve to move more and follow some of the advice in your walking section. Great page! Thanks!
