Colon Cleansing

Colon Cleansing can have an amazing affect on the body. Speaking from experience and not a doctorate, I can honestly say that having a clean colon can mean the difference between night and day. If you feel bloated, tired, headaches, backaches, mood swings, poor appetite, diarrhea, constipation, lack of energy, trouble losing weight or bad breath, you might need to clean out that colon. The different techniques I've tried, heard about, and researched will be presented here for you to try. You don't have to feel tired, irritated and 'not yourself anymore'. Check out some of these colon cleanses that range from being internal to external physical activities to get you feeling 'empty' and 'clean'.

Eating your way to a Healthy Clean Colon

Give your Diet a Green Boost

Ever watch those shows that have to do with people and there eating habits all sprawled out on a table. I'm talking those people who eat 5 plates of french fries, 3 burgers, 25 beers, 50 chocolates, cakes, sodas, pastas, croissants etc. all in one week! Yeah, it's pretty disgusting and as that may be the extreme of it all, I would say even 60% of that or more can have harmful effects on your digestive system.

This picture of greens and veggies here actually looks a thousand times better than any greasy meal you could ever picture and is definitely filled with way more nutrients, vitamins and minerals that the body can handle.

The thing is, if you have intestinal problems, that can result in poor absorption of these nutrients and vitamins which in turn doesn't break down food easily, leaves you tired and cranky and doesn't provide any kind of relief when taking a visit to the loo.

Start slow, fiber will most likely be your new best friend to start the cleansing process. Greens are also a fantastic way to get the effectiveness of vegetables in a liquid form. As the body starts to heal and the colon starts to iron itself out, the flow of 'waste' will occur more smooth and frequent.

A regular bowel movement should be between 2 and 3 times a day. Think about it, if you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, there should be a bathroom break after breakfast lunch and dinner. That doesn't happen for a lot of people. Where does all that extra waste go? It gets caught in the intestinal walls, and builds up creating an environment that you really don't want to have inside of you.

It's not hard to do, pick up a tablespoon of some fresh flax seeds, stick em in your grinder, and then sprinkle it all over your food. You'll hardly taste it but it will help clear some stuff out. Start adding some veggies to your meals. Some lettuce wraps, carrot sticks, peppers cut up. One of my favorite recipes is to steam some swiss chard, stick some finely chopped garlic in it with a ton of fresh lemon juice a little salt and pepper and a whole wad of olive oil. It's so simple but it tastes so good, and my stomach always loves me after that meal!

Remember, the simpler you can keep it to being whole, the tastier and more effective your meal will be in cleansing out your system.

Fat Secret Loss

Dr Suzanne Shares With You

I was looking all over online to see what I could find as far as a detox was concerned. After looking at hundreds of pictures of people 'remains' I came across this program and thought hey, lets give it a shot. It was pretty cheap and after all the cleansing i've tried, it couldn't hurt to learn a bit more about the parasites that could be lurking and how to get rid of them for good!

So far the results have been good and I might just consider putting up one of my own reality pictures of my matter. But really, don't count on it, one peak and it goes down the hole.">

A Colonic (Colon Irrigation) Hydrotherapy

Colonics admittedly make a lot of people squirm and make funny faces, but it's really not as bad as it sounds or seems. Take a look at this video. Basically, in a very brief description, they fill you full of water at a couple of different temperatures (sometimes mixed in with some healing aids) through the anus and then the water along with years of build up in the colon come out through the inserted tube.

The relief felt after one of these is light as a feather. Actually I have to admit, I've had them done before and possibly because of my nervousness, the first time didn't really do anything for me. However, the times after that were much more relaxed as I knew what was happening and I could just let what was happening happen. So really, it's not that bad, but you do feel pounds lighter afterward.

If you've never tried this procedure well, it is a bit invasive...well, really invasive but everything is done under covers and if your practitioner is cool, then you'll feel more comfortable, but hey, to each their own, i'm just saying from my own experience.

Doing Yoga Postures

Pavanmuktasana - Wind Removing Pose

A big change that a lot of people can start to implement into their lives is by doing exercise. More specifically yoga. One posture that comes to mind, as I am also a yoga practitioner, is called Pavanmuktasana, which means wind removing pose.

I'll try and explain it best I can so you can all do it at home A couple of things to remember while you're doing the posture is to take nice big deep breaths in and out through the nose and to put as much pressure on the abdomen as possible using your arm strength. You really want to keep the rest of your body very relaxed.

Firstly you want to lie down on something soft like a yoga mat or a carpeted floor. Lie down on your back and keep both legs straight and flat on the floor to start. We'll work on the right side first, the ascending colon. You're going to pick up your right leg, bend at the knee and grab on top of your shin below the knee with both hands fingers interlaced with each other. To keep the fingers from slipping you must have your fingers holding on tightly to the opposite hand. Start to pull your knee in towards your shoulder and press firm. If you feel like your inner thigh is hitting your rib cage, just rotate around that hip socket until it is no longer pressed against. The back of the head is on the floor with the chin close to the chest. Keep your elbows close to your body, and pull the knee towards your shoulder. Remember to keep breathing. You'll feel a little bit of pinching in the hip, but don't worry, it's also going to help mobilize it. Keep breathing and pulling harder every time you exhale for about 30 to 45 seconds. Once your finished with that leg, move to the left side and do the same thing. Now you are working the descending colon. Remember to pull hard with those arms. Keep the rest of your body as relaxed as possible.

Once that is done, you're going to straighten the legs again and pick up both legs now and try to wrap your arms around those legs so it looks like your in the fetal position, only on your back. Try to grab the opposite elbows with your hands and pull those legs in. Feel the pressure on the Transverse colon right there in the belly and breath deep. Make sure to keep the back of your head touching on the floor with your chin down to get a little bit of compression there in the throat and also to stretch out the back of the neck. Keep squeezing and pulling. Also keep the feet side by side and then knees touching . Hold this posture for 30 seconds to a minute with a lot of oxygen.

When you're finished lay there for about 20 to 30 seconds and then try it again. It feels great as it stimulates the colon and sends loads of fresh oxygen and blood flow to get things moving again if your feeling like you need some movement there. Hope it helps.

Abdomen Massage

Stimulating Movement

Watch this short video of a stomach massage which can really make quite a huge impact. It is always done in a clock wise movement. As you start to put pressure into the areas on either side of the belly button, it might feel a little bit painful, ticklish and uncomfortable. That is why it is so important to apply pressure gently and to go slow with a good oil that is not so easily absorbable.

Excellent lens, considering that the average person maybe carrying as great as the equivalent of 8 meals of undigested food within their colon, utilising the best colon cleansing methods is undoubtedly the wisest choice anyone can make especially those who are particular conscious about their health.
