Healthy Diet Plans for the Working Professional

Add to Onlywire

There are many ways in which to improve your job performances and help you along your journey to achieve professional success. One way you can improve is through a healthy diet. Your day should be divided into stages so that you can make sure you receive the needed nutritional support for great professional performance. It doesn't matter if you work from 9 AM to 5 PM or if you work all night, use the following diet plans to help you succeed in your job and in your health.

Long Run Persons

If you are a "long run person", you are on your feet the entire day, so the amount of physical effort you are making is great. Your body needs energy from morning till evening. You must keep your sugar level stable with the help of complex hydro-carbonates. You will be like a little ant if you start your day with cereals and milk, for lunch you should eat soup and vegetables with cheese, and in the evening, you can serve yourself some lasagna and salad.

Night Stars

If you are a "night star", your work hours keep you until the early morning hours. You need food for feeling awake and happy and for combating depression that can often occur during nights. The nutrient that will keep you smiling from dusk till dawn is Vitamin B1. Your day should start out with a breakfast consisting of bread and honey. Your lunch should consist of pasta and vegetables. You can end your day with a dinner with chicken barbecue and salad.

Office Angel

If you are an "office angel" then you are performing intense mental activities and have a low physical effort throughout the day. Your body needs "intelligent" food. You need food that will give energy to the brain and nerves, which means nutrients rich in Vitamins B and C. For breakfast you can eat bananas and yogurt, at lunch scrambled eggs and toasted bread and for dinner potatoes, fish, and vegetables.

No matter what your job is, you should have always enough needed energy to perform it well. You need to follow a healthy diet plan so you won't gain weight, but you have to eat as much as you need in order not to feel hungry while at work. That will clearly affect your performance on the job and off the job

How Exercise Affects Your Body Temperature Rhythm.

Is your quality of sleep lacking? There is a way to instantly increase your quality of sleep, start a exercise program if you don't already exercise. There are a ton of health benefits to exercising that I'm not even going to mention. Exercise helps you sleep in a number of ways:

- Exercise makes your body temperature rhythm rise and will make your body temperature peak at a higher level. This, in turn, will increase your energy level throughout the day. Exercise will makes you feel more awake, alive, and motivated.

- As your body temperature levels will max out at a higher level, your body temperature will also drop more easily and deeper. This will allow you to sleep deeply, without interruptions.

- Regular exercise will prevent your body temperature rhythm from "flat-lining", which will allow you to sleep deeply even if you've had a stressful day, or couldn't exercise on one particular day.

- Exercise delays the body temperature "drop" in the evening, allowing you to stay awake and alert longer without feeling tired and drowsy.

- Exercise is also a great relief of tension and stress, which as you'll later find out, is a major cause of sleeping disorders.

If you don't exercise yet, GET A MOVE ON IT and start now. The best time to exercise is in the morning, as this will promote a quick temperature rise. However, avoid exercise 3 hours prior to going to sleep, as your body temperature will probably still be on the rise, and you may find falling asleep and sleeping deeply more difficult.

If you don't exercise, I'm not suggesting you get up off your butt right now, get a membership at your local gym and begin a full scale work out program. You can do that only if you really want to. However, recent study shows that just moderate exercise during the day has many health benefits. If you can't motivate yourself to start exercising regularly, you could find a less intensive physical activity that you still enjoy, like walking briskly, biking, or rollerblading. These will still have a substantial effect at raising your body temperature.

My final point about this would be: What's the Point of Trying to Rejuvenate your Body, and Increasing the Quality of Your Sleep, if you're not going to USE YOUR BODY?
