Ingredients:
8 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cream (heavy)
8 tablespoons cooked meat, chopped
2 tablespoons grated carrot (lightly steamed)
Some grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Pie shells, (22 cm)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add the cream and milk into it. Next, add the meat into the egg and milk mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Put this mixture into the two pie shells, sprinkle some grated cheese on top, and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, until it is fluffy and the cheese melts and it is golden brown on top.
Allow the quiche to cool before serving. (Never give your dog hot food.)
