Healthy Weight Loss Advice: "Here's why diet after diet fails you, and why you can't seem to lose weight no matter how hard you try''

What you are about to discover will change your life.  No matter how overweight you are, no matter how many weight loss programs you've tried, no matter how many times you've failed, no matter how poor your eating habits are, no matter how depressed you are about your weight, no matter what you see when you look in the mirror, I have wonderful news for you… Those Days Are Over!

In fact, you should NOT blame yourself for a lack of willpower, or poor discipline, or being lazy, or feel guilty about actually losing a little weight and then putting it right back on.  You don't even need to make excuses for yourself like being big boned or it's in the family or "I guess I'm just a plus size girl".

Look, how could you have possibly known whether a particular healthy weight loss plan would work for you or not?  I mean there are so many diet plans, diet books, and diet commercials coming at you from every direction that your brain goes into weight loss information overload.  Even more confusing is that they all have fancy scientific sounding names and come from companies with names that sound like medical institutions, famous hospitals, or laboratories. 

The truth is that anybody can create such a name and advertisers are experts at creating illusions.  These aren't evil people.  They're just very adept at marketing their product and trying to tap into the $60 billion a year weight loss industry.  It's a business, nothing more, nothing less.

But how could you have known any of this?  You just wanted to lose weight and you trusted the "experts" to guide and advise you only to be disappointed over and over again and leaving you with the feeling that maybe you just can't be helped. 

Well, I want you to know that you don't need to despair, you don't have to keep beating yourself up, and, by all means, you don't have to give up because NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT.

For me, though, it is personal and certainly more than just a business.  I've seen what being overweight has done to people physically, not to mention how much it has affected them socially, emotionally, and mentally.  So I'm stepping forward because I can no longer sit by and watch while honest, hard-working women just like you keep getting ripped off by all those phony weight loss "experts" out there!  It's time you know the truth about how to achieve real weight loss success, regardless of your past dieting disappointments.

Healthy Weight Loss Tip #1:  Diets Don't Work And Will Leave You Fatter
(And More Frustrated) Than Before

First, let me explain why diets don't work.  Millions of people, who are trying desperately to lose weight, fail miserably every time they go on a diet.  The reason is because there is so much bad and confusing information that people are doomed to fail even before they start the diet. 

What I see in weight loss can be grouped into three categories, and it all deeply concerns me:

The Ridiculous and the Outrageous. One heavily promoted natural weight loss plan after another focuses on eating only one or two magic foods -- the grapefruit diet, the steak and bacon diet, and the cabbage soup diet. Any of these may temporarily cause you to shed some pounds, but you put the weight right back on (and often add more) - because nobody can ever stick to one of these diets. When you "fall off the wagon", you binge eat, you feel guilty. And many of them may actually be dangerous if you use them for any length of time, because they deprive your body of vital nutrients you need.

The Impossibly Complicated. You may remember a very popular late-night TV product promoted by a very famous, energetic, lovable guy I won't name, who sometimes appears on "David Letterman". It came with a leather wallet and a mountain of color-coded cards to move from place to place in the wallet. This was nothing more or less than calorie counting and keeping an eating diary. And diet plans that require calorie counting, food exchange counting, carefully combining only certain foods, and that pretty much rule out eating in restaurants, or require you to eat "rabbit food", simply do not work because it would take superhuman, iron-willed self-discipline to stick to them. They are NOT realistic. So, the hot new diet book everybody is talking about comes out, people run out and buy it, discover it is full of charts and graphs and mathematical formulas, and it goes on the shelf to gather dust with the dozen other books just like it.

The Potentially Dangerous "Magic Pills".  Look, we would all like to swallow a pill that won't let the fat molecules stick, a pill that burns off body fat while we sleep, and that lets us eat all the pizza, ice cream, and chocolate cake we want and still lose weight. And if there actually was such a thing, it would be prescription only, a big drug company would own it, and you would get it from your doctor. These promises are inaccurate and sometimes misleading - and they can be dangerous. Some of these "magic pills" contain herbal "stimulants" known to make your heart race, give you big "highs" and "lows", briefly depress appetite but later leave you famished and eager to binge eat. Others contain huge amounts of caffeine and sugar - yes, sugar! They all have fancy scientific sounding names. The ones sold in mail order ads, in women's magazines, and tabloids often come from companies with names that sound like medical institutions, famous hospitals, or laboratories - but anybody can create such a name.
