Healthy cooking ideas - You can make it too!
Everyday i look at other people who are eating fatty and unhealthy products or how some people never really look or consider what they are planning on cooking. Surprisingly enough there are many food ideas out there that are very misleading or try to trick you into thinking your eating healthy. Im happy to say that i have done some research into what we need to look for when buying a food product or when cooking healthy. I have always wanted to see how i can make healthy cooking ideas and enjoy them. Cooking healthy is not actually as hard as it may seem. Healthy ideas are always out there you just need to look to find them, however it seems to be getting easier these days considering the high obessity rate in most people most shopping centres and restaurants are doing their part to serve or sell healthy cooking ideas.
When i go grocery shopping i tend to look for the following nutritional facts when buying food to cook.
Reasonable Calorie intake
Low fat and saturated fats
Low sodium (as the higher this gets the worse it is for your cholesterol)
Low sugar intake
I know it may not always be easy to abide by these facts because of course all of us do have those sugar or salt cravings and that is normal. For the most part though we can make things a lot more simple and better on our body by healthy cooking ideas. Let's consider the following example:
Were about to watch a movie and we decide we would like to have some popcorn during the film, well instead of purchasing "Buttery popcorn" that has both high calories and high sodium we should consider plain and healthy popcorn and add the following for our own taste
spray on butter with no salt
May seem strange but it will cut your calories and high sodium, best of all it still tastes great.

I enjoy cooking very much, of course being that i am a single woman most times i only end up cooking for myself which really puts a damper on your healthy cooking ideas because there is no one else there to enjoy it with you.
