The Healthy Dancer's Diet
Day in the Life
- Breakfast = One serving Barley Max
- Mid Morning = One serving Carrot/Veggie Juice
- Lunch = One serving of Barley Max (1/2 hour before) then fruit or vegetable salad.
- Mid Afternoon = One serving carrot/veggie juice
- Dinner = One serving Barley Max (1/2hour before) and then large green salad followed by one cooked meal.
- Evening = Piece of Fruit if hungry.
KALE/AVOCADO/LEMON GREEN SMOOTHIE
2 cups of chopped kale OR spinach
1/2 avocado
1 ripe banana
Juice of one lemon
1-2 cups distilled water
Place all ingredients in a blender with enough water to make the smoothie liquid enough to drink through a straw if desired, and blend until smooth.

Cabbage and Walnut Salad
1 1/2 cups shredded green cabbage
1/4 cup each diced red pepper&cucumber
2 tbs each chopped walnuts&Italian parsley
Dressing:
3 tbsf lemon juice
2 tbs distilled water
natural sweetener to taste
Prepare salad vegetables and set aside. Combine dressing ingredients and thoroughly stir into vegetables.

Australia. Six years ago I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's
Lymphoma, which had obstructed both urethras of my kidneys
and caused much damage - the right one was barely
functioning. Stents were inserted for 3 months. After a
course of C.H.O.P. chemotherapy, I had expected to be
somewhat improved, however I never recovered. After a few
months as I was crying out to God for my 'way of escape',
three people mentioned to me about the Hallelujah Diet®. I
read some material and I admit I was extremely skeptical
but could not shake the idea that this was indeed God's way
of escape for me. I began the diet in November 2001. Today
I am well and strong - back into fulltime work and so
enjoying my life. Was it easy? NO! I had many times of

Intro to Antidepressants
prescription drugs, taken "as prescribed" rather than
abused, are the third leading cause of death in this
country, killing as many Americans EVERY WEEK as we lost on
9/11. In light of this we need to ask who the real
terrorists are when we are in a war that in 5-years has
lost only one week's worth of these 9/11 deaths, while all
these deaths due to drugs go unnoticed, slaughtered and
buried right under our noses. An example of such a drug is the antidepressants which are now being linked to school shootings and other horrible crimes. See tomorrow's blog for more on this.

Frozen Banana Smoothie
1 frozen banana for each serving (Peel bananas before you put them into a container and place in freezer.)

- So it is good to know that some people in the medical profession are getting a clue. It makes me laugh thought that 20 years of education and research as well as billions of dollars are spent to come up with a realization like this. This is not rocket science here. We need to awaken to what we are doing to our bodies. Cancer doesn't just attack us cause we are "the next in line" or because "my mom or dad had it". Steps to Peaceful Meditation
This can help to relax the mind and body.
- Find a quiet place where you cannot be disturbed. Sit in a chair or cross-legged on the a cushion on the floor. Close your eyes.
- Become aware of your breathing. The rush of air in and out of the nose. Be aware of how the chest rises up and down with each breath.
- If thoughts arise this is perfectly normal. Congrats you are meditating. Instead of fighting the thoughts or giving into them and thinking more about it, simply be aware of the thought. Acknowledge is presence and then turn awareness back to the breath.
- If you find that you are thinking about something for a few seconds or minutes, that is okay to. The moment you are ware that you are thinking of something is the moment you return to meditation. Again turn you attention to your breath.
- See if you can sense the inner feeling of the body. Starting with the hands. Say to yourself "How do I know I have hands?". Without thinking about it, try to feel the hands. Do this with the rest of the body and see if you can eventually feel the whole body as one energy field.
- If emotions or feelings arise feel the sensations of the feelings. Try to just feel them and not make a story or connection in your mind to a person or situation. Try not to label it as anger, fear, anxiety... If that happens return to the breath and try to sense the sensations of the feeling.
- Start with about 5 minutes a day and then you may want to work up to 20-30 minutes per day.

Helpful Hints to Stay Healthy Eating Out at Restaurant
Eating out can be difficult. Here are some tips to choose Healthy.
- 90% of restaurants have a house salad or a variation of some sort of salad. Try to include a salad in the meal. Stake houses and other buffets also sometimes have a salad bar. You could always order one of the featured salads less the meat. A good idea is to always have dressing on the side and prefferabley a vinegerette dressing.
- Try having an appetizer as a main course after the salad. Also look for the section of the menu that says "sides". There are usually selections of seasonal veggies or a baked potato.
- Try to save drinking until after the meal in order to digest the food properly.
- Remember most desserts are full of sugar and animal products. If you have something like an apple pie, ask them to hold the ice cream.
- Have a happy Healthy Day!!!

Enjoy this Great Recipe
Finally a treat for you vegans who miss the chocolate you left behind. Look at the note below for the recipe. Recipe for Raw Holiday Fudge
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup carob powder
1/4 cup each ground sesame&sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raw almond butter
6 Medjool dates, pitted, soaked 2 hours,&drained
1/2 to 1 cup pecans chopped
Place ingredients in food processor w/ S blade, mix well. Press into lightly oiled 8" square pan. Chill, cut&serve.
Grains (especiall refined) are acidic and must be eaten sparingly

Share this one with your growing kids for healthy bones and breain
2 heaping teaspoons organic steel cut oats (cook untilthick in
3/4 cup distilled water, OR soak until soft and drain)
ADD:
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon ground millet
1 teaspoon ground quinoa
1 teaspoon ground flax seed
1 rounded teaspoon wheat germ
1 teaspoon sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
1/2 cup raisins
1 sliced banana
1/2 cup berries of your choice (blueberry, raspberry,
strawberry, etc.)
ADD more almond milk to obtain desired consistency
Sprinkle top with cinnamon
Drizzle Agave Nectar or raw honey on top for desired
sweetness - ENJOY"
