Here's a recipe example:

Macaroni and Four Cheeses

Ingredients

* cooking spray
* 16 ounce(s) pasta, elbow macaroni, (1 box)
* 20 ounce(s) squash, winter, frozen pureed (2 packages)
* 2 cup(s) milk, lowfat (1%)
* 1 1/3 cup(s) cheese, cheddar, grated, extra-sharp (4 oz.)
* 2/3 cup(s) cheese, Monterey Jack, grated (2 oz.)
* 1/2 cup(s) cheese, ricotta, low-fat
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon mustard, dry
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper, cayenne
* 2 tablespoon bread crumbs, fine, dry
* 2 tablespoon cheese, Parmesan, freshly grated
* 1 teaspoon oil, olive

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Cook the macaroni according the package directions. Drain and transfer to the prepared baking dish.

Meanwhile, place the frozen squash and milk in a large saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally and breaking up the squash with a spoon until it is defrosted. Turn the heat up to medium and cook until the mixture is almost simmering, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cheddar, jack cheese, ricotta, salt, mustard, and cayenne. Pour this mixture over the macaroni and stir to combine.

Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and oil in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the top of the macaroni and cheese. Bake until the cheeses are bubbling around the edges, about 20 minutes, then broil for 3 minutes so the top is crisp and nicely browned.

Serving size: 2 cups

Overall Fitness and Well-being!

Because it's not just about what you eat.

Ellie Krieger's plan is comprehensive, including exercise and fitness planning as well as stress management. To stay slim, energized, and feeling healthy, you have to move your body. And Ellie believes this can be fun and enjoyable! As with her philosophy on everything, balance is the core component of her fitness plan. Whether you're a gym nut or you've never exercised in your life, this plan will be customized to work with your fitness level! It includes strength training, flexibility workouts, and cardiovascular exercise. And it will leave you feeling strong, fit, and energized!

Not only that, but Ellie believes that learning how to reduce stress is not just good for your health but can actually enhance your weight-loss efforts and help you overcome hurdles and plateaus. Research has shown that chronic stress can make you more likely to gain weight around your middle, and may make it harder for you to shed pounds. Ellie's plan includes action steps that will help you start feeling more confident, relaxed, and positive in your day-to-day life. Side effects may include weight loss! :)

Testimonials

Because this plan really works!

Ellie has helped her personal clients and fans reach their goals. Her program really works. Just listen to the people who have found success...

Kathy lost 15 pounds!

"I highly recommend Ellie's program to anyone who wants to lose weight in a healthy, real-world way.
At age 49, I had been 15 to 20 pounds overweight for years. And I'm short, so that much weight really affects my appearance. I'm a freelance journalist, and when Woman's Day magazine asked me to write a 3-month, daily weight-loss blog for womansday.com, I thought "This is exactly what I need: public pressure!" So I took the job. I suggested to my editor that I follow Ellie's plan because I'd always enjoyed her show on the Food Network. She seemed to make weight loss seem very do-able with just a few small changes.

I followed Ellie's suggestions for stocking a healthy pantry. I added more fruits, veggies and whole grains but didn't skimp on the protein. I cut a lot of the fats and junk per the great suggestions in her book..."

Jackie was motivated to get healthy!

"It's still a journey and probably always will be, but at least I'm not alone in it. During my first bout of chemotherapy I gained weight. I hadn't been watching what I ate, not realizing that I was jump-starting my body into menopause and it would be that much harder to lose weight afterwards. This is why it is so important for me to stay on a healthy path now as my chances of cancer reoccurring is higher if I am overweight. I've already had a second cancer diagnosis and can't afford to have another occurrence at my young age; I just turned 40..."
