Feel good about what you feed your pet while DOING good at the same time!

Hi! My name is Debra Furstenberg and I just wanted to introduce myself. About me: I am a pet owner who recently researched different pet foods to feed my puppy (well--she's really 4, but still a puppy to me!) as I was concerned about all the pet food recalls. After much time and effort researching what was available on the market, not only did I decide to feed her Life's Abundance food but I started representing the company.
---------------------------------------------------
I was so impressed with the quality of the product line and the integrity of the company that I felt I had to be a part of it. I even spoke to the formulator of the food, Dr. Jane Bicks, DVM (she has conference calls on a regular basis which are open to anyone who would like to participate). How cool is that? What other pet food company can you do that with?
---------------------------------------------------
And a portion of all proceeds goes to the Dr. Jane HealthyPetNet Foundation, which donates funds to deserving shelters and rescue facilities. Now I feel good about feeding my pup the most nutritious holistic, all-natural, freshest food around, but I am DOING good by contributing to such an extrodinarily worthwile cause at the same time.
---------------------------------------------------
If you are like me, and passionate about your dog or cat, why wouldn't you make the switch to Life's Abundance? And there is a money-back guarantee, so you really can't go wrong!
---------------------------------------------------
Life's Abundance has never been a part of any pet food recall. The foods are holistic, all-natural, and manufactured in the USA with ingredients obtained here.

Why Life's Abundance Uses the Ingredients We Do

Egg, meat and meal definitions

All ingredients listed on a pet treat or food must conform with the
definitions by the American Association of Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
These definitions are the only ones that can be used although many of the
AAFCO definitions don't sound healthy.

If one adds eggs to a dry food the eggs must be in powder form. AAFCO
defines "dried egg product" as being dry egg, without the shell, that
was processed at a USDA plant. A manufacturer can use the term "egg"
only if the manufacturer is using human edible eggs at the time of
manufacturing.

Chicken meal contains only chicken. Turkey meal contains only turkey. The
definition of any meal must correspond to what is in the meal. Corn meal
contains only corn. The American Association of Feed Control Officials
have definitions on their site.

CHICKEN OR OTHER TYPES OF ANIMAL PROTEINS: The object in making a good dry food for dogs and cats is to put as much healthy nutrition as possible
into every nugget. The muscle of turkey, fish, chicken and other are dried,
removing most of the water. A concentrated form of a meal will allow us to
put more of it into a nugget. There are different grades of meals.
Unfortunately, you can't determine the qualities of meals from the label.
We use the best meals we can get.

CHICKEN,TURKEY OR OTHER TYPES OF NON DRIED ANIMAL PROTEINS - When a meat is not dried is can contain from 40-60% water. That means that the meat takes up more room in the nugget than the meal. Most of the meats used in
the dry manufacturing of pet foods are "de-boned". That means that
once most of the meat is taken off the skeleton it is put through a
machine to gather up everything that is left. which consists of tendons,
ligaments, viscera and a small percentage of muscle meat.

Dr. Jane's HealthyPetNet Foundation

See where proceeds from all sales goes...

Helping companion animals to lead healthier, longer and happier lives is not just our company commitment it's our personal mission. That's why we have worked very hard to not only provide the best, health-promoting products, we have also established a foundation to help improve the lives of abandoned companion animals all across the U.S. The Dr. Jane's HealthyPetNet Foundation is a non-profit organization absolutely committed to supporting a variety of animal rescue groups, all of which are dedicated to helping to rescue neglected and unwanted animals.

Every time you purchase a Trilogy (or HealthyPetNet) product, a portion of the profits are contributed to a fund that supports the operations of this organization. Thank you so much for your continued business! Together, we're making a positive difference in the world, one animal at a time.

In 2007, we've awarded thousands of dollars to numerous worthy rescue groups, including

Hobe Sound Animal Protection League
Operating in Florida since 2001, this organization is committed to rescuing feral cats. These animals exist in the wild with the constant threat of extreme temperatures, environmental toxins, injury by vehicles, diseases and predatory animals. Volunteers for this group use their homes to foster and domesticate these beautiful wild creatures. These cats are either adopted by families after being domesticated, or remain at Caring Fields, a wonderful property that features large houses for cats, complete with fish tanks and TV's!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doberman Rescue Concern, Inc.
In recent years, puppy mills have become a rampant problem in our country. As a result, more and more rescues are focusing their energies on specific breeds. This group was dear to my heart because Dobermans are true family dogs - smart, gentle and protective of their families. Since 1981, this group has helped to place more than 1,600 Dobermans with loving homes. The folks who run this rescue handle the majority of their adoptive placing through word-of-mouth. While seeking adoptive homes, these caretakers bring these wonderful dogs into their own home, covering the costs of meals and medical care.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rescue Rehab Home, Inc.
Founded just last year, this organization focuses on a handful of dogs at a time, rescuing those who seem nearly beyond hope. In what is truly an incredible undertaking in care and devotion to canines, this unique organization purchased ten acres of land in the mountains near Boulder, CO, for the express purpose of giving dogs room to frolic and roam. They provide medical care, boarding, feeding and training, all with the long-term goal of placing these dogs with loving families.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

American Black & Tan Coonhounds Rescue, Inc.
Another breed-specific rescue group, this organization places abandoned coonhounds with foster homes until appropriate adoptive families can be matched with these quintessential American dogs. They currently have forty dogs in their care, rescued from locations throughout the country. Covering all veterinary expenses, and food costs for foster homes when they can, this is an excellent group deserving of extra help.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Animal Friends Humane Society
This small group has been able to accomplish a great deal in only seven years. They provide superb care for 100 dogs and cats. These animals have been rescued from various plights, and now are housed in a climate-controlled building that's kept impeccably clean and features both indoor and outdoor runs. With several vets providing needed medical care, these companion animals are destined for much better lives with the help of this very special group.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

People's Anti-Cruelty Association (PACA)
In existence since 1973, this organization is the oldest "no-kill" animal rescue group in New Mexico. They focus on abandoned and/or abused cats and dogs. They provide all needed medical care and safe havens until adoptive homes can be located. Taking special care to place companion animals in home environments matching personalities of pets and new pet parents, this group is on the leading edge of progressive pet adoption.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Noah's Wish
During the recent wave of fires that engulfed huge swathes of California's forests and neighborhoods, thousands of animals were displaced. One organization took the lead in protecting the surviving animals, including cows, donkeys, horses, sheep, chickens and goats. They provided veterinary care and food, not only for these animals, but also for the dogs and cats that escaped with their families to temporary shelters. This same organization provided care for thousands of animals in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

Happy Holidays from Dr. Jane Bicks

The season of giving is upon us once again. Although this season is typically marked by a flurry of activity, it's also the time of year many of us pause to reflect on our own lives, and think about the impact that we can make in the lives of others.

I'm so thankful to be a part of HealthyPetNet, which actively promotes the welfare and health of companion animals. From order fulfillment to customer service, from accounting to our company principles, we're all pet people. Helping companion animals lead healthier, longer and happier lives is not just our company commitment %u2026 it's our personal mission.

We have not only worked very hard to provide the best possible products, we've also established a foundation to help improve the lives of abandoned dogs and cats all across our great nation. The Dr. Jane's HealthyPetNet Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a variety of home-grown animal rescue groups.

We provide funding to deserving organizations that meet very specific qualifications, including: providing full veterinary care, maintaining a caring and safe environment, demonstrating a high level of cleanliness and facilitating adoptions of their rescues. All of the selected organizations are shining examples of rescue groups, providing loving support to the wounded souls who have endured the unfortunate hardships of neglect and abuse. We're absolutely committed to giving much needed help to these small rescues, as they achieve so much with so few resources.

It gives me great pleasure to announce the recipients of The Foundation's financial awards made in the second half of 2009.

Lucky Cat Adoptions

Lucky Cat Adoptions' mission is to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned cats and kittens throughout the Jacksonville metropolitan area. They maintain their association solely on donations and through fundraising efforts, receiving no funds from any city, state or federal agencies. Their feral rescues receive the same medical care that adoptable cats do and are eventually re-homed with those who have expansive properties. Every penny they collect goes toward veterinary care, food, litter and essential expenses for the animals they rescue. We commend their efforts to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and their promotion of spaying and neutering programs.

Noah's Ark Sanctuary for Abused and Abandoned Animals

In 2003, Noah's Ark opened a small feline adoption center in Pompano Beach, FL. The cats are humanely trapped, tested for disease, spayed and/or neutered, and vaccinated. And although they do not have a physical shelter for dogs, they do not hesitate to rescue the strays they encounter, placing them with volunteer foster parents. Their ultimate goal is to create a no-cage, no-kill shelter with enough fenced area for healthy feral cats to roam freely and safely, and to house stray and abandoned dogs in a home-like setting with room to run.

Sanctuary Animal Refuge and Hospice

This caring group seeks to provide sanctuary to any animal that does not have a human family. They actively work to rehabilitate all of the animals brought into their facility. Rehibilitated animals will often become surrogate parents to new additions at the Sanctuary, creating security for all who call this loving place home. The living quarters for the animals are "condos" or "town homes", all of which are furnished with the comforts of a home. Volunteers spend time with all of the animals on a structured schedule to ensure that they receive plenty of exercise, human interaction and healthy doses of love.

Rescue K911

Located in Tallapoosa County, AL, this all-volunteer rescue group takes in stray, lost and abandoned animals. Over the last eight years, they have rescued over 600 dogs and 34 cats from the streets of loneliness and starvation. On any given day, they offer excellent care to over 100 companion animals. Rescue K911 provides food, shelter and vet care to those in need; promote spay and neuter programs in their community; and helps place newly revived and healthy dogs and cats into loving homes.

Hobe Sound Animal Protection League

A non-profit, no-kill, feline rescue group, this Palm City, FL, rescue uses the TNR Program (trap, neuter, return or re-home) with cats that have been abandoned, which is a humane method of controlling the overpopulation of homeless cats. They also house non-adoptable cats who are not fully socialized or have disabilities which may prevent them from finding permanent placement. Their property features "campgrounds", a unique combination of hideaway condo-like buildings which offer safety, security and privacy for each and every feline resident. Since 2001, they have spayed and neutered over 600 cats from various feral colonies in Martin County.

Rescue Rehab Home, Inc.

This organization focuses on a handful of dogs at a time, rescuing those who seem nearly beyond hope.
And best of all, every time you purchase any of HealthyPetNet's health-promoting products, a portion of the profits go to support the vitally important work of these and many other extraordinary foundations.

Thank you for all you do for your companion animals, and thank you for helping homeless animals through your continued business!

Wishing you the very best this holiday season, and always,

Dr. Jane Bicks
