Very interesting lens. My husband is bipolar. It's been a rocky road. (14 years). He has not yet gotton to the point of being able to control or even help control his episodes We've just started researching the links to food.
It's really nice to read a "happy" bipolar story. You don't see it much. I adore my husband, but it has not all been easy.
I started a blog about my Bipolar Husband, mainly as an outlet to voice my opinions and frustrations. It's really nice to see a happy ending. I have high hopes for my marriage and my husband and that includes his bipolar disorder. Stories like yours just reaffirm my hope that things can be ok!

    Take care

My ex-boyfriend suffers with Bipolar Disorder. Through our struggles I've done a lot of research myself to try to understand the disorder and why he feels/acts the way he does. I truly feel for those afflicted and their loved ones as it can be very destructive in all areas of their lives and ours. It's critical that they seek treatment (medical or alternative) to help them lead productive lives, although, it's very hard just to get someone with Bipolar Disorder to seek treatment or to find ways of managing its symptoms.

Nice first lens Dianne. Right now I'm working with a web designer who struggles with bipolar. He seems to have a good handle on it. 5* and favorited. Also, welcome to the SquidU forums. :o)
