OK, without giving away all the goodies, I will say that this looks like a good program. It is not easy and I think the whole campaign is way over-hyped. I have heard that cleaning the critters and gunk out of your system will make you healthier and thinner and know it is not total bunk. That is not the entire program, though. She does go into things such as acidic and alkaline and which foods go together and which don't. For many, her suggestions may be a radical change, for others, not so much. For Weight Watcher members, I suggest going on the core plan first and getting used to whole foods before doing the juice fast and herbal colon flush that are in this program.

As this is more of a detox program, the exercise component is lacking. I recommend The Truth About Six-Pack Abs, which is written by a personal trainer who shares much of Dr. Suzanne's philosophy on eating. For example, he says avoid artificial sweeteners and use stevia. He also sent me a good newsletter yesterday on how grass-fed beef has as much omega-3 as most fish. If you seriously trying to lose weight for your health and not just your appearance, check these two programs out.

I have one of these at home I use everyday and I love it. Mine is actually a little bigger and it is called a Sprintmaster. I'm not a big exercise person and I hate treadmills but I am now into a routine where I exercise on my Gazelle every morning before going to work and I've been able to stick with it for over a year now.

If you are looking for a program that will help you lose weight by promoting healthy lifestyle change in a supportive environment, Weight Watchers is the weight loss program for you. They have two basic methods for weight loss, the core plan and the points plan.

The core plan focuses on eating whole foods and portion control. The Flex plan assigns points to foods and you are allowed so many points per day, say 20 points if you are about 150 pounds. The points are calculated using a ratio of fat, calories and fiber content of the food. Try to go for low-fat, low-cal and high fiber to keep the points down, and drink plenty of water and eat foods that make you feel full, such as those with high water content or high fiber.
