Where would you like Twitter Healers to send healing?

Healing the world, one person at a time... a community of healer's who are actively sending healing to world communities

This is a community of people on Twitter and other web 2.0 social networks who are gathering to send long distance healing to different people and communities around the world. It all came from a simple request

Small steps can change everything.

It all started on twitter on Jan 25, 2009 late by Arizona time @ReikiAwakening was in the mood to do some Reiki and sent out a request for peeps who wanted Reiki. I was in the middle of writing my Decoding the Body's Wisdom e-newsletter replying to a reader about the Laws of Attraction and why it was still working for her, even though she didn't see any evidence of it. Don't get me wrong but... occasionally I get a bit direct. It was in that mode when I saw @ReikiAwakening sweet request to offer Reiki to anyone who would ask.

I fired off a remark which went something like this "How about Tibet, the Middle East, New Orleans?" She must have caught my energy as I was writing the newsletter. Because she immediately replied "Yes, that is part of my routine. This is extra for those I meet who need it."

It was then I realized that I would like to join her in sending healing out to those areas, knowing that the power of two people sending healing is so much greater than the power of just one, alone by themselves. So I asked @ReikiAwakening when do you do the healing at where to? The reply was immediate, "it varies - when I have time, I choose an area and send some. Different times during the day. Middle East, Barak Obama, Darfur" and then she fired off, Also participate in We are One World Healing monthly with a web address which you can view below. At which point I said, I'll join you in healing, tell me when and to whom.

As you know Tweet conversations are not a private. Within moments, @leaming chimes in @miritturley @reikiawakening I'm in :) I replied let's create a community of healers here on twitter to heal the world and communities. Another reply from @leaming i'm with you :) keep me posted, then @ShamanicShift chimes in @miritturley @reikiawakening et al. Re: Energy Healing for communities & world - Yes! (I've been in a while now!;-)

So it was time to drive thought to momentum. I am loving Twitterstorm so I created this forum to sen healing out to communities around the world, for the world.

Guidelines for the healings

The power of many to change lives

Each day a different community or cause will be the focus of thousands of people on social networks all over the world. A shout out with a hashtag will be posted daily. At some point during the day, focus your energy, thoughts, prayers, reiki toward that part of the world or community. For example you may see #heal tibet, or #heal darfur from there you know what to do to pass this on.

    Awesome lens, definitely 5 stars for this lens. Oh by the way just to add on your very informative post: EFT is a method of energy healing that is swiftly applied, direct, versatile and readily measurable. For all these reasons, I would recommend the method for anyone interested in healing work.

    I was actually exposed to the method before I even knew what it was. While I was in a group, having EFT training, to absorb information faster I was taught a technique to release and eliminate the over-critical thoughts and behavior we engage in when trying to learn something new. This made the learning process itself a lot more fun, and naturally that sped up my comprehension.

    Much later, I was exploring different ways of dealing with emotional pain and inner resistance. I'd mapped out a few different things to try and one was, you might have guessed, the same method from before. Only then had I discovered the name.

    Rachel... of course you can participate! A particular healing technique or experience does not obstruct or hinder anything. And certainly "no experience required" All you need to do is set your intention and you are good to go! Welcome the world communities thank you. Peace and blessings

    I'm a healer with mostly close-range experience, but I would love to help. I don't do Reiki, per se, but can I still contribute? Would it be helpful or an obstruction if partly I'm practicing sending my energy?
