Learn to Hear and Play Music

Music creates some of our best memories. Just hearing a song can bring back memories. We have access to a lot of music. We can listen to a radio. We can listen to a music video on Youtube.com. We can listen to music on from a CD or on a MP3 player or if you still have one from a cassette player, a record player or even an 8 track tape player. Music surrounds as we often hear music playing in stores or businesses we visit. But there is still something about being able to create your own music.

Making music is something I think we nearly all are born with a desire to do. Babies like to shake rattles. Toddlers like to bang on pots and pans. Children like to blow whistles, shake tambourines, bang on pianos or play simple instruments like recorders.

Christmas is a time of year when music plays a big part. Traditional carols as well as current music helps bring a feeling of joy, hope and peace. Singing Christmas carols whether at church, a party, or at home is a big part of Christmas. Imagine if you could play the Christmas carols yourself and help create that magical feeling that comes with Christmas

Learning How to Play

When I was young my family didn't have a piano. I wanted to learn to play an instrument, so my parents bought me a used flute, and I learned to play it by taking band in school. I loved the feeling of playing music. It was the best time of the day at school.

Flutes aren't used to accompany others. I wanted to learn to play the piano. A friend taught me a couple of tunes to play on the piano when we were at our church, but I didn't have a piano to practice them at home. Learning to play the piano would have required having a piano to practice on and taking lessons from someone.

Today you can purchase relatively inexpensive piano keyboards and you would only need the way to learn how to play, I came across an online method of learning to play the piano, guitar or organ by ear. This method will help you learn to play quickly and easily. Check out the videos to learn more.

A Better Way to Practice

Practice makes perfect definitely applies to music. The more you practice the better you become. Traditionally many parents and music teachers have required a certain amount of time for practicing the piano to learn how to play well. When practice is boring it feels like torture. Those who find practice fun are the ones who practice more and become better. Being able to play along with others makes practice more fun. I just learned about a new software that gives you the chance to play along with drums and bass tracks and lets you practice with a band. The software lets you control the speed, the key, and the style. This would make your practice a lot more fun giving you a lot more motivation to keep practicing. A Gift That will Create Memories

Hear and Play GiftMusic can make a wonderful gift. We may give a gift of a CD or a MP3 Player so music can be downloaded. We may give a musical instrument like a keyboard, a guitar or other instruments.

Providing a way for the recipient of an instrument to learn to play it could be an important part of the gift. Music lessons could be given or a gift like "Hear and Play" could be given. Ir would be a gift that would be remembered for years as it creates ongoing memories each year.
