- I had a heart valve replacement in May 2009... It was my second Open Heart Surgery. I have been on Coumadin (Warfarin) for years but now I will be taking it forever... I just built a lens on information about it. I really like that you shared this information. I am sharing my story too... I am an adult CHD patient... more surgeries ahead but I am feeling like a Rockstar right now!
