    Yeah and I heard there's a million smackers buried out on some beach in California somewhere. It's buried under a big "W", I tell ya!

    I heard, you heard, she heard, he heard. Problem is, everybody hears something and it's never the truth. If you heard there's lawsuits, then list them. Otherwise, it's nothing more than CB talk, as always.

    Amen! I also have been chewed out for idling while sitting for 2 days in the heat. I was told by my fleet manager that I'm supposed to go sit inside the truck stop. For 24 hours? I understand there are other lawsuits against them over this idling issue.

    I would not recommend heartland express for anyone.Think about it. why are they a debt free company? Who makes that possible? The drivers. They will automatically take 10% of your miles. Every load. If there truck is broke needs to go to the shop. The driver will take it and sit w/ it for no pay.You will not get tolls paid even if its pratical to run that route. Some scales have not been reimbursed. You do this to enough drivers and yeah you will rake in the money. Dispatchers lie to you, They treat you will disrespect, They brag about paying all miles loaded or empty. Guess what you will go 125 miles empty and receive 4 miles. They tell you no idle dont care if it is 100 degrees outside. When a truck drvr has a wreck you dont ever hear about the driver if hes ok all you hear is if the truck is ok or not. freight well if you consider 1400 miles a week a job. they will leave freight on yards and forget about it then expect you to break your neck to get it there or be shut down.
