- Your wife sounds just like me. Both my hands and my feet get cold and while it may be warm enough to wear shorts & a sleeveless shirt, if I'm in the house I've got socks on. It drives my husband nuts as I'll complain that my feet are cold while he is sitting there sweating.
In the winter I have to wear really warm booties or electric socks or my toes turn a purple color. I guess it's from too much sitting down at the computer but I do get up and take a little break every 15 minutes and massage them to help with circulation.
