The Hot Scarf Story
In September 1998 I was hired to costume supervise a scene on the American feature film "Snow Falling on Cedars" in Kaslo, British Columbia.
One of my main tasks was to keep the two young actors warm in their rain-soaked costumes when the cameras weren't rolling. Using the heat pads I came up with the first version of the Hot Scarf. It worked like a charm and everyone was happy.
The Hot Scarf became my main tool to keep actors calm and warm on cold film sets.
Several years later, a back operation forced me to change my lifestyle and my work. During my rehabilitation, I decided it was time to start my own business and market Hot Scarves to the world! It was time for more people to benefit from having relief from cold and discomfort without the dependency on electricity.
You may be a sports person, an outdoor worker, a person with therapeutic needs or someone who doesn't like air conditioning. To order your Hot Scarf click on: www.hotscarves.com.

How The Hot Scarf Works...
...using no electricity!
The environmentally friendly disposable heat pads can be reasonably purchased at most outdoor stores, and drug stores.Take the heat pad out of the plastic wrapping and the air will automatically activate the heat. Pop the pad into the sewn pocket in the scarf and wait for approximately 5 minutes for full heat. Depending on the make of the pad, you will have heat for about 6 hours.
And, that is all there is to creating your warmth!
For Pain Relief...
...Hot Scarves can help you
With Hot Scarves products one can have a heat source at anytime, and anywhere.
Heat, and cold are important aids for pain relief. . Heat increases blood flow, which increases healing and decreases pain. Cold is used for decreasing swelling and inflammation especially in sports injuries. Both may be used in conjunction with each other.
To be able to relieve pain through an easy portable heat source is a comforting thought.
Imagine yourself in transit battling neck, shoulder, stomach, leg, and joint pain, and being able to relieve it by opening an air activated heat pad and popping it into a Hot Scarves fleece pocket.
When you're not in the comfort of your own home a Hot Scarf can be used any place with the environmentally friendly disposable heat pads. You are not confined to microwaved packs, electrical heat pads and limited heat sources. Having a Hot Scarf can free you to continue to enjoy your activities for up to 6 hours.
