This is a true story written by a father about an amazing out of body experience told to him by his son. Heaven is for Real is a true account of a little boy named Colton who says that during surgery he visited heaven. He said that he got to sit on the lap of Jesus. He met is great grand father and he met is unborn sister who was miscarried by his mother years before.

I'm sure many people are sceptical about this story. And many people don't think that there is an afterlife. But for me it helped confirm my belief that there is life after death.

I think "Heaven is for Real" is a book that would help anyone who has a fear of dying. I had the honor of being with my grandmother near the end of her life and I spent some time with her and she came in and out of concousness. She spent time talking to me about "her friends" who were in the room with us. She could see the spirits that I couldn't see. This experience with my Grandmother helped me to overcome a fear of death. You can read my story here....

    I love this book...just read it a few months ago. Also read 90 Minutes in Heaven. So interesting to think about our spirituality and what might come after this life. :)

    My spiritual experiences have all been in my own body! When you face your own mortality, though, with a serious illness, the subject of Heaven becomes much more current and, therefore, interesting. I read Heaven Is For Real this week and really, really appreciated it. Highly recommended!
