Hebridean Wedding Rings - hand crafted in South Uist

Although we have sold Hebridean Jewellery since 1989, it was in 2008 that we finally got to visit South Uist and the workshop of Hebridean Jewellery. It was October; stormy, cool - and absolutely fabulous. Hebridean Jewellery have a lovely coffee and gift shop in Iochdar - and, if you manage to visit South Uist, we'd recommend that you pay them a visit.

Here is one of the most popular of the Celtic wedding bands made by Hebridean Jewellery - it is a solid gold ring (ok, also available in silver or platinum) -

called the Iona ring.


Hebridean Jewellery also make a small range of Gaelic rings - this one is Mo Ghaol Ort - which translates to "My Love on You".

The Eriskay Love Lilt captures completely the essence of Hebridean life. While the song was probably recorded in the 1960s in black and white, to my mind, it enhances the atmosphere and I always loved Judith's fantastic voice.
