It is important that you consider a few things to get an accurate read of your ideal weight from a Height and Weight Chart:
- Charts such as these are usually calculated of an average sample of a selected group
- The Height and Weight Chart does not take into account your personal Muscle mass
- Nor does it consider your body type (Endo-, Exo- or Meso-Morph)
- Nor does it consider bone mass Density
- When using this chart it is most important to consider how you actually feel about yourself and your body. If your body image is suffering or you feel tired all the time it is imporatant to make a change. Think of the things you are giving up in your life not to make a change now! The purpose of this weight loss quick guide is to really set you out on the right path to handle your weight once and for all and the mind set that it is going to take to get there.
Some basic ground rules:
- Never refer to losing weight; no one likes to lose anything. Refer to it as shedding the weight or shedding pounds
- Identify your outcome and make it specific. If you don't know where you are going you never know if you are getting closer. So answer the questions below for yourself and hopefully you will be honest and write them down, so you can review them daily

- Quick Tip: Reward yourself for every step you take closer to your goal and if miss step on the way to your goal do not punish yourself or feel back just reward yourself for getting back on track

- How soon would you like to get there?
- Quick Tip: Assume you are going to better at this and start to shedding the weight faster as you go along. The first month you may lose a couple pounds and the next you lose 5 lbs.
- What food that you think is bad for you can be easily removed for your diet?
- What food that you know if good for you and you like can you eat more often?
- What resources do you have that can help you get closer to you goal. We usually have a ton of resources around us that would help us to easily achieve our goals and we see them unless we really think about it.
- What activities can you do for exercise?
- Quick Tip: Pick something you would enjoy so it will be easy for you to want to do it.
- What activities can you do for exercise?
- Who would be willing to help you?
- What books and knowledge would help?
- What abilities do you have that would help
- The last and most important thing it to find the right motivation to stay on your path.
- Why do you want to loose weight?
- Why must you do it now?
- How would your life be different if you accomplish this goal?
- How would the people around you benefit from you succeeding?
