Helena Attlee, writer

Helena Attlee is well-known as an expert on the history of Italian gardens. She lectures widely on this and other subjects, and also leads specialist tours of private gardens in Italy and elsewhere. She has written many magazine articles and a number of books, often in collaboration with her husband, the photographer Alex Ramsay. The Gardens of Japan was published at the end of March and is already being reprinted, while Italian Gardens: a Private View will appear in October.
