Helena Attlee, garden historian and lecturer
Helena Attlee is well-known as an expert on the history of Italian gardens. She lectures widely on this and other subjects, and also leads specialist tours of private gardens in Italy and elsewhere. She has written many magazine articles and a number of books, often in collaboration with her husband, the photographer Alex Ramsay. In 2010 they have two new books appearing, The Gardens of Japan and Italian Gardens: a Private View. These will be both be published by Frances Lincoln Ltd in the UK.
