    Sherman tanks. I don't know where I heard this one, but it means a parent who will run over anything or anyone to benefit their child.

    Don't have a name for them, but speaking as former TA's the worst kind of parent was the kind who forced their kid to go to college. Ack, what a nightmare (see our "college tips" lens if you're interested).

    "No-Job Bobs" - parents who will sacrifice their vacation time and sick leave to monitor a child's success in school and/or on the athletic field
