Pink Hello Kitty Cupcake Recipe
- Serves: 12-14
- Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
- Total Time: 45 minutes
Yummy strawberry flavored cupcakes and the Hello Kitty theme work together perfectly. Nothing beat a good ol' Duncan Hines strawberry cake mix but sometimes you just want to make it from the bottom up. My favorite recipe below:
Ingredients
- 2.75 cups of flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2.5 tsps baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 three ounce package strawberry gelatin
- .75 cup of butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- .5-.75 cup of strawberry puree (made from Fresh Strawberries)
Instructions
Hello Kitty strawberry cupcakes---Mix white sugar, butter and strawberry gelatin (dry mix) together. Next add eggs. (Best if one at a time)---Stir flour, baking powder and milk together and then add in to mixture slowly. Add vanilla and puree last.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool before icing. (At least 15 minutes)
