'Hell's Kitchen': The dark lord of cooking reigns again!
Hell's Kitchen is an American reality-television cooking competition. It is a local version of the original series of the same name, broadcast in the UK.
The show debuted its first season on the Fox Network in May 2005. The second and third seasons both debuted in June of 2006 and 2007 respectively. The fourth season debuted in April 2008.
The format of the program is similar to the UK version, with a red team and a blue team competing in various cooking challenges for most of the season. (read more)

- 401 - 15 Chefs Compete
- Chef Ramsay will pick one lucky contestant to become the Executive Chef for his new restaurant, The London West Hollywood. Gordon immediately sends the contestants to the kitchen to prepare their signature dish. In the most shocking taste-test ever, Gordon gets physically sick from a contestant's concoction leaving everyone speechless.
- 402 - 14 Chefs Compete
- Each team must accurately slice a halibut into six-ounce fillets; one member of each team must work as the maitre d' while the others staff the kitchen; one chef is eliminated.
- 403 - 13 Chefs Compete
- The contestants were to make perfect cuts of a chicken, part by part, without cutting too much meat or having portions of other parts on a part of the chicken; the contestants are asked to then serve chicken family-style at the dinner service.
- 404 - 12 Chefs Compete
- The red and blue teams make fresh pasta for family night. The team that produces the most pasta is rewarded with a fun day at the Santa Monica Pier. During dinner service there is an accident in the kitchen that sends one contestant to the hospital. The team must scramble to make do without one of their teammates.
- 405 - 11 Chefs Compete
- The aspiring chefs learn the value of a culinary classic when they are challenged to turn the basic into brilliant by creating a gourmet pizza to present to Chef Ramsay. The winning team is whisked away by helicopter to enjoy a gourmet meal in seaside Santa Barbara. The losing team is forced to take pizza orders and deliver the pizzas during dinner service!
Hell's Kitchen Versus Top Chef
If you like to watch regular folks deal with adversity that is far in excess of the crap you have to put with every day then you will find Hell's Kitchen is what you should watch. On the other hand, Top Chef is like a fine dining experience. There's a bit of drama, but the focus is really on the food - with 15 chefs who actually know what they're doing in a kitchen fighting the element of time.

I watch Hell's Kitchen but I usually have to turn it off half way through because I can't take all of the yelling and whining...its like watching a train wreck. Top Chef has the better chefs and definitely the best food.
