Hellsing

Alucard is the main character in Hellsing. He is an ancient powerful vampire that swore his loyalty to the Hellsing family many generations ago. He is the original vampire that was defeated by Dr. Abraham Hellsing in Bram Stokers book Dracula. In the Hellsing universe instead of being killed Alucard was taken in by the Hellsing organisation and became there trump card against vampires. He was locked away at some point for a number of years until he was awaked by Integra Hellsing who become Alucard's master from there onwards.

Integra is a descendant of Abraham Van Hellsing and the director of the Hellsing organisation. She inherited her position after the death of her farther at the age of 13. In the early start of the series the young Integra is being hunted down by her father's brother in the Hellsing manor with the intension to find her and remove her from the family line. Upon finding her and cornering her in a cell deep in the manor he inadvertently wakes the sleeping Alucard who after 20 years in blood thirsty. Alucard after being put to sleep for so long erupts with excitement and starts to clear the room leaving young Integra quivering in a corner of the dark cell. From this moment forwards Alucard recognises that Integra is a descendant of his former masters and joins her side to fight the vampuric evil and keep the Hellsing family safe.

In the Series Integra is strong, intelligent and is mostly pictures smoking cigars, although she does appear very strict and dominant she is greatly respected from those who server under her command

Sera's was originally a member of the police force that was called out to assist during a large scale vampire outburst. In this outburst a small town had been turned into ghouls by a single rogue vampire. Alucard as the expert vampire hunter is called in and clears the town of ghouls and finishes off the rampant vampire. Sera's was mortally wounded during the final moments of the vampire's demise and chose Alucard's side as opposed to facing death. Alucard bites her and turns her into a Vampire just like himself. In the first few episodes Sera's is shown struggling to come to the reality with her new vampuric nature and often hesitates in battle to make the final move to finish other fleeing vampires and ghouls.

In the OVA series Sera's learns more about her abilities and it's made clear that Sera's possesses a large magnitude of Alucards vampuric power and strength.

Walter is a retired member of the Hellsing organisation who serves as Integra's butler throughout the series. He was previously handpicked by Integra's farther to face the initiation of the Millennium group during the World War 2. Walter along with Alucard helped to decimate the Millennium organisation and extinguish the threat over 50 years ago.

Walter, although in his 60's can surprise most with his angel of death moments. Later in the series he assists Sera's to take down the floods of ghouls that infiltrate the Hellsing organisation in a fatal attempt to destroy the Hellsing organisation.

Anderson is a warrior priest that works for the Vatican Section XIII Iscariot. Anderson is the Iscariots ultimate trump card to finding against the undead and is Alucards main primary rival. Anderson has regenerative capabilities that allow him to grow parts of his body back if he loses these during battle. As well as this Anderson is armed with a whole arsenal or Holy weapons that will bring most vampires down to their knees trembling. He is possessed with the idea of relinquishing the world of the undead and battles it out throughout the series with Alucard.

Otherwise known as Alexander's boss Maxwell sole goal lies with the of defeat Alucard and destroying the Hellsing organisation. Maxwell is featured in the later OVA series where he organises a full scale attack on London. After Alucard appears on the scene his fleet is consumed into Alucards arsenal and Maxwell soon follows down this path.

Maxwell, in the earlier series committed serious perjury offenses of when he ordered Anderson to travel to England unannounced and engage in battle with Alucard.

A former SS officer, The Major is the man behind the Millennium group that attempted to take over England in the second world war. He was in the stages of creating an arm of vampires when Alucard and Walter found his laboratory and destroyed it.

The major is an insane man who lives to create an endless war.

Rip Van Winkle is the huntress of the Millennium organisation. She carries a long barrelled front musket which fires magical bullets that can hit multiple targets with one shot. Rip van Winkle has connections with Alucard during the battle in the Second World War.

Her demise comes when she is tricked by the major into taking control of an abandoned warship floating in the middle of the ocean. Alucard is flown in and faces off with Rip Van Winkle.

Zorin is a tall masculine female character covered in tattoos on one side of her body and face. Zorin creates very realistic illusions to her enemies and uses this to distract them while she finishes them with her scythe. Using her powerful magical abilities she launches a devastating attack on Hellsing that results in all but a few of the Hellsing's occupants standing.

Zorin's end actually comes at the hand of Sera's when Zorin kills Sera's friend whom she was close too, Sera's erupts with an unearthly amount of rage and power which destroys Zorin in a few simple moves.
