Foreclosure Help daily
Hello and welcome to my page. I am a licensed agent here in the state of California taking the time to help people with free advice with the foreclosure process. There are many individuals out there suffering thru this process. Shorts sales and Loan Modifications are merely an aspect of this real estate economy when it comes to foreclosures. Sub-prime financing began this economic downfall. Unemployment is an indication of how this economy will play out in the near future. To view more updates daily goto: www.foreclosurehelpmate.com
Foreclosure Scams: Sellers Beware
Owning a home is an Incredible experience. Millions of people have had the luxury of owning their home for years, raising their children, had family gatherings, parties etc. These experiences are priceless. Everything seems to be going great in life. The family is healthy and happy, your monthly income is more than enough to pay bills and have a little something extra at the end of the month.
The average family either moves or upgrades every five years. You are either looking to upgrade to a larger home, refinance or buy your first home. The process goes smoothly with no problems in sight. But as the market changes and you wish to refinance out of the loan you can't. Your stuck in a situation that neither you nor anyone around you saw. Over time you begin to realize that you have become a victim of Sub prime financing.
You now are looking to save your home, so you do everything in your power to do so. You contact the lender, work more hours, borrow money, but nothing seems to work for a long period of time. Then one day you get a letter in the mail. A company states that it can help you get out of foreclosure. They send you a letter that looks so official. It seems to over deliver on it's promises. It's the little bit of hope you were looking for.
You take the time to call the company and talk with a representative. After speaking with them on the phone, you breathe easier becasue they promised you they can help you. As you start the process with this company and they talk about payment options you abide by all rules they give you because you want to do everything possible to save your house.
As time goes on and the process is dragged out, your lender is continually calling you asking for repayment, information etc. You take the time to let your lender know that you have a company that is helping you to resolve your foreclosure situatoin. As time goes on and none of the foreclosure problems are getting solved you get a funny feeling in the pit of your stomach that lets you know that you are not really getting help at all. You are getting scammed. Just one of many companies looking to help themselves instead of helping your foreclosure situation.
This is a common occurrence in our economy today. Companies preying on the emotions of people. It's sad, cause you have people dipping into whatever they have left just to save their home, but for the most part, the home will never be saved. Many of these people were sold something called "false hopes"
To avoid this issue from taking place, take the time to do the following:
- Look the company up in the Better Business Bureau to see if they are legit.
- See if they will take payment after your foreclosure problem has been solved
- Ask to see if they have a list of references (other people who they have helped)
Now, although this is not a complete solution to a national problem, these are just a few things that can save you a lot of time and money in dealing with foreclosure scam artists.
