Edible Birdhouses
Edible birdhouses are both functional and attractive. They provide food for many types of wild birds, and will also serve as a nesting house once the food has been eaten. These delicious homes are available in a variety of styles including:
A Church - A Castle - A Tractor - An Apple - A Star & A Christmas Tree
Edible Birdhouses - where do the birds nest?
Each of these birdhouses are constructed with yellow pine and blandex lumber. Therefore after the birds have eaten the grain you are left with a durable, unique and weathered looking birdhouse that will last for years. If you desire you can add honey or peanut butter along with sprinkles seeds to always have an edible item.
During construction two or more kinds of birdseed are hand crafted on the house drawing such birds as cardinals, finches, tit-mice and other desirable birds.
These birdhouses are so attractive (the pictures do not do them justice) that they are often used for inside decor.
