Tooks - Hats for your iPod or MP3 Player's Earbuds
Do you like to listen to music no matter where you are or what you're doing. It's easy in the summer, just slip in your earbuds and crank up the sound.
But what about in the winter, when low temperatures make a hat a necessity to keep your ears from freezing. Sure you can stuff the buds in your ears and put a hat over it, but hten you're oblivious to any ambient sounds, which is particularly important when jogging or cycling. Makes you wish someone would invent a hat with the earbuds/headphones sewn inside.
Well someone has. Tooks was founded in 2005 in Denver Colorado out of a desire to listen to music safely while enjoying all sorts of outdoor sports. Tooks are truly "the hat you can hear".
What the heck is a TOOK anyway?
Tooks are the absolute coolest new beanies and headbands that feature BUILT IN removable headphones. Tooks were born out of the desire to listen to music while enjoying all sorts of winter sports. Fortunately, they can be worn during just about any activity where you might want to listen to music, such as biking, hiking, jogging, working out (or even shovelling snow). Not only are they cool for you, but they make GREAT Christmas gifts, and promotional items for your business.
Tooks was founded in 2005 in Denver Colorado, initially selling only the Tooks classic. The classic is a 100% bulk acrylic beanie available in 6 colors, Black, Gray, Navy, Brown, Red, and Pink.
Shortly after, customer feedback resulted in the introduction of the headband.
Tooks feature compact headphones which have been engineered for superior sound quality, while maintaining a slim package design. The fact that the headphones are REMOVABLE allows the headwear to be washed. The headphones are inserted into the inner layers of fabric so are hidden from sight. Once adjusted over your ears, a small velcro strap keeps them securely in place.
Unlike earplugs which completely block the ear, Tooks headphones allow some ambient sound to still be heard.
