    Wikipedia, an online wiki that contains crowd-sourced articles, was founded by Larry Sanger, funded by Jimmy Wales, and has a number of corruption and governance problems. At this time I would not contribute money, but would instead join and work on its internal problems before they destroy the organization, which has huge, unrealized potential.
