Last Friday (May 8, 2009) I was laid off from my job. I have a family and just like everyone else, I have mouths to feed and bills to pay. Interestingly enough, my first reaction to the news of being laid off from my job wasn't fear.

See, I have known for sometime now that I have a calling on my life to help others. I have always been an optimist so of course, I view this as a win, not a loss. Losing my job could have been a real bummer for me, but instead, I believe a bigger door is opening and this is my chance to chase my dream! I so excited about this adventure and I hope you will all check up on my progress regulary and hopefully be inspired as well. (Plus, I am going to need CHEERLEADERS!)

Is it true that we should only give to others when we are on top of the world? Or is it true that we CAN give, even when we feel we don't have much to give?

I believe the latter to be true. And I believe that this is my chance to prove it! I currently have no income, no job and YES...I have something to give. I want to prove that anyone can start something (from nothing) and make their dreams come true.

I have always believed that you shouldn't do something just to make money...that the people who do what they love, who follow their dreams...are the ones who get it right! I found this website, to try to make an income to replace the one I lost, but my heart wasn't in it. I have been blessed with this opportunity to use this as an opportunity to do what I dream of doing so that I CAN do it with all of my heart!

I believe I can make a difference by just this one simple idea...and I hope that you believe it to be true as well. I am fully aware that I need help (FROM YOU) to achieve my dreams!
