My Frustration With My Dog's Behavior

A short story of how I was ready to get rid of our newest member of the family...

You see....

I thought I had the worst dog in the world. I swear she was sent straight from...(Well, you know where) to harass me and add stress to my already full plate. She was the worst, but cutest thing for me to ever lay eyes on. She would embarrass me on a regular basis at home, out in public, in front of friends, family, and guests. I thought I knew how to handle a puppy because she wasn't the first dog I had ever raised. She was tearing things up, going to the bathroom where ever she wanted to, dig holes, bite at me, was showing signs of food aggression , she wouldn't walk on a leash to save her life! My stress was through the roof and it was the last straw

The frustrations that came with our "newest addition" was making me irritable around others. My fuse was blown and I was going off on my friends and family. Who knew that a supposed ball of joy would cause so much stress?!? This was supposed to be easy. Plenty of people know how to train their dogs to be the best pets. Who wants to be the one at the dog park always scolding, yelling, and chasing their dog? No One!

Taking your dog to obedience training?

Is paying for someone else to train your dog the best way for you to be in control of their behavior?

Not to generalize, but has taking your dog to obedience classes crossed your mind? Have you ever really looked into it to find out how costly it actually is? Don't we all wish there was a quick fix to our dogs bad behavior?

Before you go to your local pet store to get information about training classes, or call in a costly expert, consider this.

Think about being able to teach your dog to sit, speak, stay, lay, shake, roll over without the help of anyone else. Without paying those highly paid trainers. That's what I did. I never thought I would be able to teach my dog anything, but she really surprised me!

Just visit HelpMyDogNow.com to get free pointers on dog training techniques that actually work. Trust me on this one. I wouldn't trade my dog for a million bucks now!

Dog Training equipment to help your dogs behavior?

I purchased a fair amount of equipment that was supposed to cure my dogs bad behavior. Read on.

I even went as far as putting a shock collar on her because she wouldn't stop barking! Now, I just don't see the need for something like that at all! She didn't need that sort of discipline to have better behavior! It was me the owner, leader, the boss who was doing it all wrong and not to mention costly! I was teaching my dog with bad training techniques and this made it even worse because I had to go back a correct not only myself, but also the bad habits that she was learning.

Even things I bought said I needed to be aware of the products and what harm they can do to an animal. Invisible fence lines, shock collars, keeping her out of the house all together! It wasn't a way to enjoy our newest pet at all. So, I did my research....and not only am I passing on my techniques to my friends but I also use them on a daily basis with my own dog. She can sit, speak, lay, stay, shake, high five, roll over. Those are just her tricks! She doesn't stay in a crate all day while I am at work, because I actually trust her to be out on her own now. Just imagine not having to worry about what your dog is doing while you are away. Talk about a stress reliever!

So, if you tired of your training techniques failing over and over again and not seeing any approvement in your companions behavior you are in need of a serious intervention! Check out HelpMyDog.com to put a stop to all the madness!
