Help my golf swing

Getting golf lesson from a golf coach or pro, or instructor may be the way to go for some. $75 for 45 minutes once a week for eternity sounds wonderful... naa, not so much. He is going to break your swing down and start from scratch. So let's get this straight; I play golf pretty bad now, but I enjoy it, so he is telling me that for the next few times I play with his lessons helping me, I will be worse. Yup! Worse!
