Stop smoking without pills, hypnosis, wait gain, or stress.

They say cigarettes are as addictive as heroin. Well, I can't say what it's like to be addicted to heroin, but I can attest to the power of tobacco addiction. One thing is for sure; the time is now. Don't put it off a day longer.

Everyone is different. What works for some will not work for others. Get the help you need to find the method that suites you best and Quit Smoking Cigarettes Now.

My Story

I started smoking (full time) at the ripe old age of 17. My habit has fluctuated anywhere from 1 to 3 pack per day for the last 22 years. I tried the patch, nicotine gum, even Welbutrin, and I failed with each. It's not that these methods don't work, it's that I wasn't ready. Like a heroin abuser or an alchoholic, the tobacco addict must be mentally prepaired to quit. All the products and self help books mean nothing without the will.

Recently, I began to feel the more serious physical effects of smoking: Chest pains, dizziness, shortness of breath and no, I didn't go to the doctor. When you smoke two packs per day, you don't need a doctor to tell you why your feeling so poorly. Not that you shouldn't see a doctor regularly. it's just that I knew I had to quit or die trying (literally).

Easy Ways To Quit Smoking.

So, why is it sooo difficult to quit? This addiction is both physical and mental. It is a learned behavior, or hagit similar to learning to ride a bike, or drive a car. The difference is this is a behavior most smokers would rather forget.

We learn that there's nothing better in the morning than taking that first drag with a good cup of joe, and a good meal is not complete until we've slowly savored the flavor of a cigarette.

Unlearning this behavior, or these responses to our triggers is the easiest, fastest way to quit smoking for good - without gaining wait, or experiencing the other side effects of smoking cessation.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) was developed in the 1960's and is used to help people change the way someone thinks about what they do and why they do it. CBT is not hypnosis. It's a process which easy to us because it takes a huge problem - like smoking addiction - and breaks it down into small, manageable parts, or steps. How can you use CBT to stop smoking forever?

It's never too late to quit smoking, but the sooner you stop the less negative impact there will be on you health later in life. With a 96% success rate and a 60 day money back guarantee, you really have no reason not to stop smoking now.

Some tips in case you want to try quitting on your own.

1. Investigate all the programs, books, and other methods to find the one that will work best with your personality or needs.

2. Join a quit smoking forum and find additional support and information. There's such a forum at About.com - Smoking Cessation. They also host a wealth of information to help smokers.

3. Mentally prepare yourself that Q-Day is coming.

4. Get you family, friends, and co-workers involved. You may regret this at first, but you will need a support system.

5. Don't Quit Cold Turkey. This is not to say that you should try to ween yourself off by smoking fewer cigs each day. That method has a very low success rate. What I mean by not quitting cold turkey is to supplement the nicotine with patches or gum. It's easier to wean yourself off the nicotine once you've conquered the mental habit.
