Ranked #14,295 in How-To, #143,580 overall | Donates to Action Against Hunger
Ever wondered what really prompted the war in Iraq?
Really? What terrorism were we talking about? Saddam having weapons of mass destruction? hmmm.
Here is the real story
The government makes excuses every day about what ever the possible motives were. But we all know that the main reason was oil. The US has had several laws cutting back on the number of oil refineries. Due to this the government increased its dependence on oil.Oil is something that is most essential to powering a country with some of the most ellaborately lighted buildings and some of the hottest design of cars. There is nothing wrong with that. However, where there was a problem was when the government saw it fit that the best way to satisfy the demand for oil was to sacrifice the lives of so many soldiers. If you consider the destruction of Iraq's civilization it is even bigger.
But do you know what makes this really tragic?
All these death's could have been prevented. However let bygones be bygones. What is done is done. There are still soldiers and lives to be saved. They can be saved and brought home if we can lower our dependence on oil. We can reduce our need for oil by using alternative energy to drive our vehicles and other such fuel consuming machines such as generators. It is possible without trying to much fancy tricks and spending millions. We can do without all that oily fuel that we consume on a daily basis in every single part of the world. This idea to use less oil is not limited to the USA. The oil we consume in fueling our cars and other vehicles can be reduced extensively by powering our vehicles with WATER!
Yes, W-A-T-E-R!
We can now power our cars with water and therefore reduce our dependence on oil. The less dependent we are on oil the less we will have to fight over the sticky black blood of the earth. The less we get involved in such wars, the less soldiers and innocent civilians will die! So, yes, you can become a part of the campaign to save the soldiers in Iraq and around the world simply by driving your cars and trucks on water.
