Do Hemorrhoids Always Bleed?
Ranked #5,825 in Healthy Living, #101,720 overall
Lets learn about Bleeding Hemorrhoids!
Bleeding from the bum can be caused by a whole range of factors, so it is always worth getting checked out if there is any doubt as to why you may be bleeding.
Sometimes the colour determines where the blood may originate from. The browner it is, the higher up the colon it probably came from.
However in the case of haemorrhoids, any blood seen will usually be bright red as it originates just at the entrance to your insides.
Anyway, take a look at the lens here to find out more.

So... "Do Hemorrhoids always bleed?"
Well, hemorrhoids bleed sometimes but they do not always bleed. However there is a high chance that you will see blood on your tissue at least once in your journey of piles! (I love the sound of that - Journey of Piles!) Again, I must reiterate that you should check with your doctor if this remains a recurring issue as there could be a more sinister reason for blood in your stools.
What is the cause of bleeding piles?
As you probably have felt, haemorrhoids present themselves as lumps in your anus. As they progress, there is friction between these lumps and your poo which could cause a wearing down of the skin. The application of certain steroids creams may also cause the thinning of your skin which is why you should not use them for extended periods. However, sometimes you have no choice.
Also, at times because the veins in your piles are so close to the surface as poo passes by them, it might almost tear them open, especially if you are constipated. This can lead to oozing of blood long after you finish doing your poo. Urgh!

- Bleeding and pain after a bowel movement could be an anal fissure rather than piles, make sure you get it checked out by your doctor.
