I was not familiar with Henry Lawson, Australia's most famous writer, but I certainly enjoyed learning about his very interesting mother, Louisa. Thank you for introducing me to her (and Henry) through this enchanting 'tale'.

I came back to read this again, I love the way you have presented the life of Louisa Lawson. Such a sad end for such a brilliant woman. You deserve a purple star

Indeed a remarkable and motivated woman! I'm lensrolling this to Carrie Nation, another supporter of women's suffrage.

What a hard life. She did have her Dawn for awhile. Very good story. I am glad I know this pioneer.

Very inspirational. As a formerly single mom and a writer, I'm so grateful to learn about this courageous and successful woman. Thanks, Christine! (blessing the lens)

I can't imagine being a woman back in those days where the men used to be so controlling. Very interesting read and it's great that she kept fighting and her dream came true. Thumbs up for a well detailed and interesting read :)
