Herbalife International - Scam or Legitimate?

From a gleaming office building in Los Angeles, California, Herbalife International has every appearance of being a legitimate US Corporation. But are they? It seems a lot of people would disagree. You don't have to look too far to find a large number of people who would claim it's a plain-old pyramid scheme. But is it really this simple, or is there more to the company than meets the eye? One of the problems with a network marketing company is that occasionally you will have a upline distributor who encourages their newest, inexperienced distributors to buy a large "opening inventory" of product. This allows them to make 'supervisor' status, and purchase product at a lower price. However, you need to keep in mind that Herbalife has been in business for over 30 years, and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. If you're good at sales, and like working one-on-one with people, you may be able to make a little bit of money. If you're good at training others, you could build your own organization and make a LOT of money. It's also a good idea to check out the statement of average compensation to see how much the average distributor really makes. Make sure your expectations are realistic, be willing to start small and work hard before you tell everyone that Herbalife is a SCAM.
