Hi, I went to Amazon and read the comments and more customers are in favor of the product then not. Though it may not be as handy for real old homes since walls were of plaster and metal mesh. It is very hard to nail or even put a screw in that type of wall, seriously. If people know that and what their walls are made of, I am sure the dissatisfied customers will think twice about grumbling.
