Renaissance Fair Dragon
I was at a Renaissance Fair in the summer of 2005 and we were just outside the gates of the Fair when we spotted this guy. What you are looking at is a full-sized dragon costume, made almost entirely of leather. Some of the construction mimics how suits of armor were made, which makes sense for a guy who likes Ren Fair. The plating is all leather, and does a good job of making dragon scales. The tail was also constructed from leather and some hammering and studding provide details and texture.
The mask he wore covered his entire head and included horns and a short beard. I'm sure it was very hot inside that outfit but it also looks amazing.
