- Mr. Wouk stayed at the "Galleon House" on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands while writing the book "Don't Stop the Carnival". While there, he also did about 8-10 paintings which he left on the walls. I know this because I stayed in the same room he did and looked at those paintings for quite some time. What would be interesting is to find out what ever happend to those paintings??

- Hi,
My English teacher translated to Russian ,"The hope" , Herman Wouk's book.
He ask me to search in the internet if this book exists in a Russian version.
We are Jews that live in Israel and feel that this book is close to our patriotic wind.
