As the series Heroes begins, D.L. Hawkins is nowhere to be seen.
That's because he's stuck in jail! He's been incarcerated for theft and MURDER!
Not very responsible behavior for a father AND husband
D.L. is spoken of right from the start of the series, but viewers won't see him until Episode 5.
When he does appear, he kidnaps his son, Micah Sanders !
Boy, D.L. sure gets in a lot of trouble.
D.L. Hawkins is caught up with the same mobster - loanshark people as wife, Niki Sanders is involved with, so we can assume that he's running away from those rough characters - as well as from the Police.
Keep running, D.L. - you'll have not only the mobsters and cops after you, but Heroes, soon, as well...not to mention Niki's alter-ego, who is simply DEADLY...
